Fuel walked out of a piece of seemingly uninteresting pipe (that led to the assassin base, but nobody knew but the assassins), sniffing the air. He and his two brothers, now calling themselves the Fire Trio, had decided they needed a night out. Extra classes about their magic power were draining and absolutely boring at the best. His bright orange fur was given a funny yellow tinge by the streetlights, and the sliver of green in his left eye shone like a little emerald. Behind him, his two brothers emerged, Kindle, a mix of orange and brown, and Tinder, the almost-entirely brown brother that only looked orange in direct sunlight. But then again, I need both of them to perform my most powerful magic. Fuel reflected upon how the brother's magical talents directly related to their birth order. Fuel had the most talent, and Tinder the least, but if Fuel wanted to perform his third-stage magic, he needed the support of both brothers. Kindle needed Tinder if he wanted to cast second-stage magic, and Tinder could only go up to the first stage. "I announce a boy's night on the town," Fuel called to his brothers. "What do you say about that?" "I say, by all means!" Kindle replied. "Lets go before someone else comes and wants to tag along!" Tinder added, "Like that group of extremely annoying dayschoolers!" the three shared a grouped laugh. "Where shall we go first?" Fuel asked.

My LooksMy Voice (Lelouch)The air had blown into the old shelter where Shadino and Chi stayed. It looked as if a window was left open. Shadino felt it hit his face, as he opened his eyes. The moonlight shined on only his face. He slowly rose up and gave a wide yawn. Then he looked out of the window. As, he felt the cool, brisk night breeze, he took in a breath. Then he turned away from the window and padded towards the stairs of the old house, as they creaked. He stopped in front of a old cracked mirror. He stopped and looked at it. Then he growled a bit. He had grown a lot and it doesn't even seem like he was him anymore. The black coal that he had rolled in to keep his red covered, it had faded off. He gave a narrowed eyed look at the mirror. "Broken glass gives a fake reflection.."
Then he took his paw and wiped off the remaining black smudges on his face. He looked at the mirror again. He saw how he really looked, but he still looked more bigger than he did when he arrived at the city. It seemed like it had almost been a year. He padded passed the mirror and continued down the stairs. Then he looked around. "It looks like Chi isn't around.. I can go out then." He padded out the door way and continued into the city streets. He stopped a bit, hearing voices. Oh great. More idiots to add on to my 'kick ass' list. He thought to himself.
Then he continued on his way, up the side walk.

"Let's see if the park's open," Kindle suggested. "We might get some stuff to practice on." "And scare the surrounding humans out of their wits!"
"Remember that old lady?" Tinder asked. "Everyone around her was panicking about the flaming trees, and she just kept walking!"
"She was deaf, Tinder," Kindle reminded his brother. "But it was still funny."
"We better move on, then," Fuel rumbled, "the park ain't that close." The three rusty-furred wolves trotted down the street, weaving in and out if the spluttering lamp lights. Nobody was about at this time of night except the hobos and the drunks, and nobody would be looking for three wolves in the shadows. People tend to miss things they aren't looking for.
"I wonder if those rats will be back," Kindle muttered.
"Hey, what's small, brown, furry, and makes a good target?" Fuel laughed.

My LooksMy Voice (Lelouch)As the wind began to blow a bit, picking up a slight breeze, Shadino kept his pride in his walk. He kept his ears, which had been pointing straight up and his eyes, that had been focused on his goal. At the current rate, he would atleast want to get to the end of the street. At the pace his was walking, to keep his dignity, he would get there in a few minutes. He kept his pace at a moderate one. He then stopped, hearing more voices. It seemed like they were all around him, but they mostly came from infront of him. Of course. Wolves have to be so loud that they can be heard a mile away.
He kept on going, even though his ears could hear the voices. He padded up the side walk and looked up at a roof top. He let his eyes narrow a bit. He noticed that there was a line cord that connected to a taller roof top. He decided to get a better view of the city. More or likely a better view of where the closest wolf was or human. He wouldn't want to be noticed by either.
He padded to a alley wall. Then he backed away and ran up the wall, pushing off and landing on a wooden stump on another roof. Then, almost like a feline, he ran acrossed the line cord, swiftly making it to the other roof top. He moved almost like an assassin, but he was nothing like that. His father ran a pack with assassins. Shadino just stared down upon the city, letting his eyes peer around.

"Rats make good enough targets," Fuel continued, "they even let you know if you've hit them by squealing." He turned a corner into an alley. The three slipped into the shadows of the buildings, crossing through the alley into another street. This street was a larger one, with a few cars driving along it.
"I think we better go the other way..." Tinder muttered.
"Oh, come on, bro," Kindle sighed, "nobody is gonna see us. It's dark, the humans are watching the road. If anyone glimpses us, they will think we're stray dogs. They always do."
"Tinder is right, Kindle," Fuel rumbled. "There are too many people on the road. But," he looked at the sidewalks, "we can still go on this way. It's the shortest, after all. Go into human form." He transformed, followed by both brothers. Now, nothing but a trio of teenage boys stood in the alley.
"Better?" Fuel asked. "Good. Lets go."

My LooksMy Voice (Lelouch)The voices seemed to be more clear, since Shadino got on the rooftop. On the sides of the roof were two alley ways. He heard the voices again. They were to his right. The last thing he had hear was, "Better? Good let's go." The voice sounded like a male's voice, but he could be wrong. He slowly turned to his right. He raised an eye brow and squinted a bit, as he padded more closer to the edge of the rooftop. Then he let his head slowly poke over the edge, looking at where the voices were emerging from. His eyes widened a bit.
There were three boys in the alley way that was next to the building. He narrowed his eyes at the boys. Then he saw a glimpse of three wolves. He gave a low growl to himself. Then he backed up a bit. Those must have been the idiots I heard before. This could be useful to me. He swiftly hopped down off of the roof and landed in front of the building. Then he stood up straight and looked around.
He didn't want to be seen by a human so he went into his human form. He fixed his black tank top and then inhaled a bit. Why not have a little fun with them first.. He walked into the alley way entrance, where the three wolves stood. Then he spoke, putting his hands in his pocket and leaning on a wall. "I don't think it's a good idea to be taking short cuts. Humans usually make the 'short cuts' for wolves like us to go into. Then when you are not paying attention, they jump you." He gave a long sigh. "Oh well. It was nice to warn you before you do go."

Fuel's head turned and he caught the stranger in his now-green eyes. Was it strange that his eyes changed from form to form? He didn't care. The green sliver in his wolf left eye simply took over. "If you are genuinely trying to warn us, we thank you, but we've tranversed this way before and know the dangers. Plus, there are three of us." He didn't mention the magic. Always good to have a secret upper hand. Behind him, Kindle stiffened, his brown eyes hard. Peace, brother. We are not out to pick fights with random strangers. Unless they want them, of course. Fuel gave Kindle a sharp sideways glance.
Tinder hung back a bit, taking in the situation and calculating as always. This wolf, whoever he is, is alone. Unless somebody hid their scent. I doubt an ambush. he leaned causuly up against the wall, blending into the shadows. Being the least-orange does have benifits. somedays, Tinder felt jealous of his brother's striking flame-colored coats, buthe always reminded himself that looks mean very little, and hiding is never bad.

My LooksMy Voice (Lelouch)Shadino gave a small snicker and turned his gaze to a near by car that had just been started up. He listened to one of the boys speak. He listened and then gave a shrug. He spoke, still staring at the car, that had just started to move. "Oh, my apologies. I wasn't aware that you knew these parts. I, on the other hand, have just moved into these parts." He changed his attitude, seeing that there was no way to mess with a city wolf that already lived here, just as long as he did. He gave a small nod, before pushing his back off the wall.
As he stood on his two feet, he looked around, before looking back at the three wolves. Then he spoke. I guess I should get some information about the city more. Even though I got here a few months ago. He raised an eye brow. "So you seem to know this city more than I do.. Can you tell me where I can find a protective gang around here? Some that won't mind taking a bullet?" He narrowed his deep red eyes at the three. Then he gave a blank expression. "My name is Sh-." He had forgotten that he had to make sure no one knew him as the heir of Leoni.
He cleared his throat. "Just call me Greed."

Fuel systematically noted the car that had capured the other wolf's attention, noting how the wolf didn't make eye contact until the car left. Behind him, Kindle had noticed as well and moved back into the alley a bit, watching the other end. Tinder remained leaned on the wall, glancing up every moment or so. He doesn't seem like he is new here, judging by how he knew he humans watch. Fuel considered this character. But then a similar situation is present in every human-populated place...and confronting three wolves by yourself is a bit stupid..of course, he could have been planning an ambush...an old enemy of Zaheth trying to get revenge? I doubt it, but I'm keeping my guard up. "Depends on what you mean by taking a bullet." Fuel replied. "Most gangs won't protect a stranger unless he is connected to hem somehow. A family member." And even then, there are very unaccepting. "Since you've introduced yourself, we might as well return the favor." Fuel said, but decided that, if this 'Greed' was unwilling to provide his own name, he would not have the privilege of knowing theirs. "My name is Heat." He looked over at Kindle. "I'm Scorch," Kindle said. "And that's Rust." He gestured to Tinder.

My LooksMy Voice (Lelouch)They must have thought of him to be idiotic or low on knowledge. He would keep it to himself, but he knew that was not their real names. He remembered back when he was on the rooftop listening to their every word. He heard the names Tinder and Kindle, but not any one else's name. that means the males called 'Heat' and 'Scorch' were lying. Shadino gave a raised eye brow expression at the three, before giving a nod. He wouldn't say anything, being it was that he didn't know which two were Tinder and Kindle. It would also be a bad idea for their sake If they knew his real name.
He then thought a bit. So my father sends me here with Chi un-protected. He had to know atleast one gang. He then widened his eyes a bit, but still his face was emotionless. Oh, that's right. Zaheth, that wolf I met, he knew father and he owned a gang. That just means I have to find his gang and I should have protection in this spit pile of a city. There is also the other wolf I met. Bone was it? Hmph. I should be protected fully then. He decided to see if the three knew about Zaheth's gang.
He spoke, with more hate in his voice than fear. "I was wondering if you knew about a gang that lives here. Or atleast a wolf. His name is Zaheth and that name isn't a lie." He let his mellow eyes rest on Heat.

Kindle snorted quietly to himself. This guy must have overheard our names. Huh. But we won't tell him our real ones, even if we swap names just for a bit...
Tinder showed no emotion, but gave Kindle a glance, knowing his aggression could show at any time. Kindle thought he was funny, but most of the time he seemed very self-centered. Tinder ran a hand through his hair, looking back at Fuel. Do you magic, brother. of the three, Fuel was by far the best with others, knowing the right things to say and do, and never diverging too much information.
Fuel looked innocently at 'Greed'. "You won't tell us your real name, so we won't tell you ours. Maybe you're just secrative, or wanted by someone, a gang or otherwise. Or, you could be a spy or a trickster, someone out to do bad." He fixed his green eyes on 'Greed'. "The city is dangerous, and I guess we are both playing it safe by not giving names. Anything you could be we could be as well." The question about Zaheth did not surprise him. Everybody in the city knew the black and orange warrior. "Everyone knows who Zaheth is, of course." He wouldnt give away the fact that he and his brothers were apprentices under Zaheth. "He runs the biggest assassin and wolves-for-hired joint in the city. Why do you ask?" Nothing wrong with seeing if we can learn some intentions here.

Shadino just gave a stern look at the one with the adopted name of Heat. He then listened to him and a bit of rage grew inside of his soul. It seemed like the fire was just growing until finally Heat stopped talking. Shadino gave a shake of his head and a smirk appeared on his face. Anything I could be? They could be as well? No. He then hid the smirk and a serious expression appeared on his face. He spoke in his most serious voice, almost sounding deeper than usual. "Let me accommodate you on what you are trying to point out to me. I will not give any information about who or what I am. I will only speak of things that relate to this shitty excuse of a city. You're right. I am not Greed, but I will play it off as I am. Just to be on the safe side. Then again, if I gave you my name, you probably wouldn't know anything about my history or my rank. Being it is that you live so close to the Leoni territory, I will keep being called Greed. For your sake." He finished off, looking over a bit.
Then they seemed to go back to the subject of gangs. Oh that's right. I asked about Zaheth. That foolish conversation caught me off guard. He listened to how they talked about Zaheth. It was a bit of nonsense. A spiked up guy like Zaheth roaming around in a worthless city like this. He could have been one of Leoni's assassins, but he would probably end up dead. The war would kill him if he wasn't swift enough. Shadino looked back to Heat, as he was asked for a reason for his question. "Nothing that would concern you or that you would want to know. I just needed a bit of information on him." He took his right hand and shoved it in his pants pocket. "Let's just say I need to know where his gang stays. I might have to go pay a visit to them." A smirk appeared, showing his white, canined, human teeth.

Kindle narrowed his eyes in anger at 'Greed's' aggression. He clenched his hands and took a step towards the other wolf, but Tinder reached out an arm and barred him from advancing. "Peace, brother," he growled too low for anyone else to hear. "We are not looking for a fight." Kindle glared hotly at both Tinder and 'Greed' before retreated back deeper into the alley. Swiftly, he transformed back into a wolf. His eyes glowed orange in the darkness.
Fuel put his hands in his pockets and leaned on the wall. "We don't want information about you. If anything, you found us, not the other way around. If you've got such a big need for secrecy, I don't know why you approached us." So far, he hadn't made any connections about this wolf, but later he would talk to Tinder, privately. The brown wolf had a knack for figuring things out. "As for the location of Zaheth's base, that location is strictly top secret. Nobody knows we're exactly it is or how to enter it. You'd have to either find him or one of his assassins out on the city, and even then they wouldn't tell you where the base is, unless you're one of them."
"Are you seeking to talk to Zaheth?" Tinder suddenly asked.

Shadino was not liking the way Heat talked to him. He gave a crack of his knuckles, by closing them. Then he looked at the wolf who stepped forward. Shadino took his hand out of his pocket and narrowed his eyes at the wolf. Then he calmed himself down, as Rust grabbed Scorch. Shadino wasn't looking to fight, even though he would end up killing them. He wasn't going to cause trouble. He listened to Heat more. Once Heat was finished rambling, Shadino smirked.
He spoke, almost mocking Heat. "Secrecy? Well, you see, I wasn't expecting a Q and A. I was just looking for some information. I didn't need your names. I just needed to know some things that don't seem to be too personal to you.." He let his hand point up. Then he made a face like he had figured out an idea. "Oh, but then you had to say your names and then it all un-folded." He made a serious face, letting his hand slowly descend to his pocket again.
When Heat spoke of Zaheth being secret, Shadino raised an eye brow. He looked down and thought. One of them? I'm not. Maybe Zaheth will remember the little pup from before. If he does, then I have nothing to depend on, but the past. He looked at Scorch, as he spoke. Shadino then nodded a bit. "Yes. I need to speak with him about my protection. It is dire."
With that he went into his wolf form and inhaled in a long breath. "Since you three have actually gotten this far with me, without becoming apart of the walls, I guess I could give my name to you.." He thought a bit. It isn't like they know of Leoni.. I hope not atleast. He spoke. "My name is Shadino."

Kindle retreated to the end of the alley and sat, waiting in the shadows where his temper could cool. He bared white fangs in frustration and anger.
Fuel looked casually at 'Greed'. "I don't know why you are so stuck on our names; they aren't important." He listened as the wolf explained that his need was dire. "If you need protection, Zaheth's the wolf for you. He's got bodyguards that would gladly be of service. Of course, you'd have to pay them." When 'Greed' reverted into wolf form, Fuel didn't recognize him. I've never seen this guy before. That's for certain. he didn't recognize his name either. "Shadino? Never heard of you. Now that you've told your name, I'll give mine. My name is Fuel." He looked over at Tinder and Kindle, sitting way back in the darkness. "The others will give their names if they wish."
Tinder reverted into wolf form. "My name is Tinder." His voice was softer than Fuel's rumble and smoother than Kindle's sharpness. His mind was working, figuring details. This Shadino mentioned Leoni. If that's a gang, I've never heard of them. Maybe he's wanted by them? He mentioned history and rank... I want to learn more about this wolf. Tinder cleared his throat as Fuel turned into wolf form. "Most of Zaheth's assassins operate within gangs, but there is a hub. It's where the hired fighters and guards hang out. You can request one of them there. There's also a phone and a computer, but only the gang leaders in contact with the assassins have the number and the e-mail."
