Deisel was getting bored. She hung her paws from the tree, and with one, she batted a few leaves.

Cobalt looked around. Then he got an idea. "Cannon, what if you stand on me to try and get up out of here, and if you succeed then you can go get help from father or mother?" There was only a little light shining through. He got up and sniffed around.

Cannon cocked his head. "thats a good idea!" he jumped up onto his brother's back and managed to wiggle out of the hole. "i'll go get mom and dad!" he ran off.

Cobalt gave nodded as his brother wiggled out of the small cave. "Hurry Cannon!" Cobalt sat there in the dark. The cave didn't seem too big to him. He was bored so he began to swat his own tail.
Meanwhile...
Magnolia stood at the entrance of the hunters' den. "Good morning! She said in a happy tone. "I'll give you ten minutes to wake up before you start your morning hunt. I hope that will give you enough time to wake up." She smiled at the hunters as they woke up. She walked out of the den and went to go find her mate.

Cannon ran into camp. "Mooooooom! daaaaaaaad! Cobalt fell into a hole!"
Flame jumped up. "Who? what? Cannon? where's Cobalt?"
A grouchy voice sounded behind Cobalt. Do you mind? i was sleeping!" green eyes flashed in the dark.

Cobalt gave a slight jump. His voice was quiet and apologetic. "I'm terribly sorry for waking you. My brother and I were playing hide and seek with some other pups and Cannon, my brother accidentally fell in here. Then I fell in here too." He was some what scared. "I don't mean to be rude but, who exactly are you?" He gave a timid smile. "I'm Cobalt."
Magnolia turned to Cannon. Her heart skipped a beat. She hoped Cobalt was okay. "Where is he, Cannon?" Her voice was strained and scared.

Cannon motioned. "this way!" he ran off towards the rock.
Flame pelted after him.
"My name ain't important." the wolf growled. "Pups. watch were you're hiding next time. most loners would eat you if you woke them up." this wasn't entirly true, but Comet wanted to scare this Cobalt so incidents like this wouldn't happen again.

Cobalt started to whimper. "Please don't eat me." He then started to cry. He curled up and hoped his mother and father would be here soon.
Magnolia followed after Cannon. She suddenly heard cries and got even more worried and scared.

Comet jumped. "oh no, I won't eat you-" he broke off. "others coming. I was never here, ok?" he slipped back into the shadows.
Cannon:"he's over here! Over here!" he pawed the rock.

Cobalt stopped his crying and nodded. He then heard Cannon. "Cannon!!! Did you get mom and dad?"
Magnolia looked at the rock. She then bent down and looked inside the little den. She couldn't fit in it. She turned to Flame. "How are we gonna reach Cobalt? We could try to dig, I guess."

Cannon nodded. "Mom and dad are here! they're gonna dig you out!"
"That's probably a good way." Flame sniffed around at the dirt under the rock. "The soil's pretty soft." he began to scoop away at it with his paws.

Magnolia started to dig really fast that her muscles began to hurt.
Cobalt patiently waited, excited to to see his mom dad, and brother again.

Flame widened the hole untill the could reach in and haul Cobalt out. "thank goodness!" he set his son on the ground. "that's a lesson learned: always check a hole before entering!"
Cannon ran up to his brother. "was it scary in there?"

Magnolia licked Cobalt. "Don't ever scar me like that!" She gently scolded both Cannon and Cobalt.
Cobalt wasn't sure if he should tell mom and dad that there was someone else in their pack territory. He then looked at Cobalt. "It was okay down there."
