Deisel nodded. "Ok, we'll play that!" She wagged her tail and got into a play stance. After a long silence she said. "1. 2. 3. Not it!" Her paw touched her nose as Hellfire did the same.

Cannon slammed his paw into his nose so hard he fell over. "owowow!" he howled.

Deisel talked with her paw still on her black, wet nose. "Well, if Cobalt is playing then he would be 'it'. Is he?" She cocked her head and looked at the howling Cannon for an answer.

Cobalt heard his name. He padded over to the other pups. He wasn't that fond of games, but he wanted to get to know all the other pups. "I'll be 'it'." Cobalt turned his back and started to count.

Deisel screamed. "Ahhhhh! Everyone hid, fast!" She sprang off in a random dirrection.
Hellfire just padded slowly the oppisite way.

Cannon sprang up and bolted away. He scrambled into some bushes and crashed through the twiggy branches. Stopping, he crept out of the bush and tiptoed along the edge of the camp.

Cobalt kept his eyes shut and his back towards them. He counted really loudly. "I,2,3.............................20! Ready or not, here I come!" He shouted as he opened his eyes and turned around. All of the pups had disappeared.

Deisel eventually hid in a low tree with plenty of leaf cover.
Hellfire just quietly stood behind Colbalt.

Cannon crept under a rock. "he's never gonna find me here!"

Cobalt started to walk off. He sniffed the air and took everyone scents in. He then jumped around and saw Hellfire standing behind him. "Hi, there!" He said before he calmly walked away, looking for the other wolves.

Hellfire raised his eyebrows. "Oh, boy. I was found." He glumly stalked off and sat on a rock, bored.

Cannon wiggled farther back under the rock. Suddenly, the ground gave way! Cannon fell into a small cave. "whoa!"

Cobalt heard a noise and wandered over to where Cannon was hiding. He started to sniff the entrance and picked up his brother's scent. He then wiggled his way into the rock, his brother's scent getting stronger. Cobalt looked around, it was pitch black. "Brother?" His voice full of curiosity. "Where are you?' He went deeper into the rock before his paws no longer felt the ground. With a big thump he landed right on Cannon. Cobalt felt something fuzzy underneath his rump and looked down. It was Cannon! He jumped off of him and then faced him. "Cannon! I found you!"

Cannon scrambled up. "awwww!" he yipped. Looking up, he sniffed the dirt wall. "how are we supposed to get out of here?" he tried to scramble up the wall and fell on his tail.
