"Ok beta fathom" Chi replied softly. He though it would be a good plan as long as everything went all right. But he would stay on his toes in case the elk ended up charging the wrong way or something.

Night watched them closely and figured nothing was going to happem so he padded the other direction, but then he stopped. He heard howls coming from the borders. He jumped from tree to rock and met the howl at the borders. He noticed it was a young wolf. He was all white and had red loops under his eyes and red highlights in his fur. :e looked like Night's brother.

Fathom pricked his ears. "wait." he listened to the howl. "hmm....could be trouble. get this done quickly. Scar, now!"
Scar ran and split the herd.
Fathom:"Chi! Now!"

Night stared at the wolf pup. "Who are you?" The wolf pup spoke. "Uncle!" He ran and hugged Night. Night stood there, thinking. Then Night figured it out. "Doby didnt..your Doby's son.." Ralph snuggled Night. Night looked down at him. At this point he was shocked.

Chi waited till Scar divided the herd and singled out the one female charging at her and barking at her heals turning her toward Fathom completely separating her from the others. He had heard the howl and was ready to get the kill over with but wouldn't desert the others since the howl was non-threatening.

Night backed away. "Why are you here pup?" Ralph smiled softly. "I came to see my uncle. I'm Ralph. I want to join your pack." Night's ears perked up. "No.." He padded away. Ralph stopped him. "Oh please! I sware I will be good!" Night sighed. "You can stay here, but your not in the pack. Chi can watch you. I'm not responsible for you." Night howled for Chi.

Chi ears perked up a call from Night. He saw the others had the hunt well in hand . He took off and raced to were he heard the call. " Night you summoned me. " He said as he ran over panting softly. He gave a low bow and then saw the other wolf that he did not really recognize.

Night nodded to Chi. "This pup will be staying here for a while. I want you to watch him." Night padded away. Ralph slowly looked up at Chi. "That didnt go well.." He smurked. "I am Ralph. Night is my uncle."

Fathom shot forward and neatly killed the elk.
Scar picked up the elk and began to take it back to camp.

"Yes, Night " Chi replied softly and respectfully. He watched night walk off and looked back at the pup. He wondered who he was and why Night seemed out of sorts but he didn't have to wonder long as the pup interduced himself.
Chi smiled " Nice to meet you Ralph, I'm Chi. Night helped me locate and kill my families murders. Looks like i'll be taking you on a tour and keeping you out from underfoot. The pack's beta just made a fresh kill in a hunt i was part of so why don't we go check in and see how that went. "

Diamond padded up to Night. "No! I will not let you! Doby has sent me to make sure Ralph doesn't join this pack!" She growled at Ralph. "Dad won't be happy with you!" Diamond howled for her father. It was long LOUD and beautiful.

Night looked down at the young female. "No! More pups. Who is this?"
Ralph looked at Chi. "Wow a tour. Okay come on." Ralph growled at Dimond. "Shh! Quiet! It isnt dad's choice Dimond! Neither is it yours! So just get out of my life!" Ralph looked at Night. "I don't know this pup.."
Doby ran to where Dimond was. "Ralph? Why?" He growled. "Come on we are leaving." Ralph growled. "No! I want to stay with Night!" Doby looked sad, then he turned away. He picked up Dimond and left.
(I plan on having ralph grow up in leoni then go back)

Chi blinked everything happened so fast a new young female came and yelled at Ralph. Chi assumed from the way she talked to him it must be a sister and before anyone could say much of anything the apparent father of the cubs came storming in grabbed the girl and took off. " Well looks like your family knows how to put on quite a show. your sister is kind of cute when she angry. Is she always like that? " Chi asked softly.
