Chi gulped softly at being caught. He had no choice but to creep on out from behind the bushes. He sighed his scent gave him away. Next time he would have to remember to stay downwind if he was gonna spy on people.

Vera looked at Chi before answering Scar. "Would you like the rest of my kill? We're done and was just about to hide it. No sence it letting good food go to whaste." Vera then looked at Scar. The looked up at the sky for a moment before answering. "Well, your a guard right? You should patrol near the Hokiro border and try to lure a wolf across the boarder when you are near. Then capture it and bring it back to the alphas. That should work. But I can't think of anything else."

"why does it have to be about killing, wouldn't you think that showing the alpha's that you are totally loyal to them and their ideals that would get you promoted. They would have to know that they can trust you and you swear you loyalty to them and mean it. Not use it as a stepping stone to reach a higher level. Cause murder only begets more murder and if you rise to power threw blood you will end your life threw blood as well. " Chi asked softly. His tummy growled he was hungry and the food did look good.

Vera looked crossly at Scar. "he doesnt understand our ways yet! Go easy on him!" Vera growled at stormed away back to the camp. Why was Scar so ambitious? She didn't like the way he looked when they were talking about overtaking the alphas.

Chi sniffed and ran away. Maybe Scar was right maybe he didn't belong. He just though he would do better by not taking such a destructive path. Didn't he know that if he followed the path of death then another will follows his path and lead him to his own death. Was that really all we live for. To kill or be killed. He was young he wasn't ready to die yet.

Vera growled again at Scar. She made a deep gash across his other eye. Vera was angry at wolves who made young pups upset. She didn't know if she was cut out to be with Scar or to kill. She pelted after Chi. Vera was going to calm Chi down. She didn't quit know if he would reject her.

Scar gasped and clutched his eye. "man, shes unpredictable. one moment she smitten with love for me, and the next shes attacking me." he went to a puddle and inspected his new wound. "no eye damage. good." his ears drooped. he loved Vera too. "Vera! wait!"

Vera stopped short from her sprint. She heard Scar's cry for love. She wansn't thinking of Chi right now. She could find him later. Vera turned around to look at Scar in the eyes. She had to admit, she loved him. She ran back up to him and nuzzled his cheak. "Lets not talk about taking over the pack for a while, ok?" Vera backed up a few steps to look at him again. She hadn't made any damage in Scar's eye from what she could tell. She suddently felt bad about what she did. Although Chi did have a ooint. She would let Scar off so easy.

Vera had never seen any wolf in the Leoni pack wimper. She caught Scar's gaze. "I will forgive you but! You must find Chi and apologize to him!" Vera said with a little growl mixed in. She padded back to camp.
