"yes." Scar nodded. "you can practice killing on the elk heard travelling through. sneak up on one and kill it."

Vera looked and saw a giant group of elf in the on-coming darkness. She wispered to Scar, "can we eat it after?"

"yes. but the Alphas and head Assassin eat first. Then the Nightmare Trio. Then you. Then me. unless someone invites another to eat with them, thats how it goes." Scar replied. "now get out there and kill an elk!"

"Ok!" Vera growled happily and stalked out into the field. She spotted a mother elk laying down with her injured calf. She stalked over to it making sure she was downwind and leaped on both the mother and baby, killing them both. She then heard the res of the heard gallop not far off in the Leoni Territory. She signaled to Scar to come help her dag the meat back to the camp.

Scar grabbed the elk cow. "great catch." me mumbled. he dragged it torwards the camp. "don't expect a great welcome, or rights to the food."

Vera huffed in reply as she grabbed hold of the calf's neck and fallowed Scar back to camp. She didn't think it was fair she wasn't allowed to eat her own kill first. She knew better not to sneak off with her kill and share with only Scar. Vera silently padded to camp.

Chi peeked his head out of his den. As He heard the call for food. He looked around for Night and Shoji before paddling out of his den. "oh wow who caught the elk. " He sat down and waited patiently for the others.

"Ok' I'll wait here. " Vera looked at the wolf who had commented on her catch. "this was hard to pin down since I caught them both at once. What is your name?"

"My name is Vera." She looked at the young male. She wondered when he had joined the pack. Before her is all she knew. "I wish I could eat my own catch first!" He belly growled hungerly.

Vera looked at Scar. "Can we eat already?" She growled. "I'm really hungry!" Just then her stomach growled on comand. It could have been heard for a ways off.
