"So we are just going to leave the pray here and let it rot until the alphas start to eat?" Vera growled and padded off twards the hunting grounds and started looking for other, smaller prey. If I can't have my own kill then what is the use hunting for it? She thought. Suddently Vera picked up the sent of an injered baby deer without the sent of his mother around. It was a new born and had been abandon. She quickly trotted up to it since it couldnt stand yet and nipped it in the life giving air pipes. She crouched down and started to eat.

Vera couldnt help but to smile. She didn't know why. Maybe because he was cute? "Sure, you deserve it for teaching me a few ways of life in Leoni." Vera moved over so he could eat beside her.

"thanks." Scar sat beside her and began to eat. "ya'know, if we were the Alphas of Leoni, we could eat whenever we wanted to, we wouldn't have to wait for anyone else." his eyes sparkled dangerously.

Vera looked at Scar. She didn't know of she wanted to be known as a nasty wolf that betrayed the alphas and was forced to be one alpha. "maybe we should wait and get higher ranks before we try and attack them." Vera whispered, just in case someone was close by.

"Exactly! What are you, a guard or something? Amylase become an assassin! We will get higher ranks if we are more loyal and treat the alphas better than the rest of the pack. You can't just jump from your rank to an alpha without someone else claiming the pack before you." Vera scolded Scar. Then she said, "Are you done eating because we shoul bury this before anyone finds out we ate."

Chi creep away from his hiding spot. Not even a leaf stirred in the wake of his light footsteps. Scar might pose to be a problem to the alphas. But the darkness is what this pack was. He did think Vera was pretty cool.

Vera turned. "Chi, i think you should learn how to stay downwind and disguse you sent better. I can teach you later if you want." Vera looked at Scar again. She knew he was not threat to Chi.
