The Sisters (Open)

[piyanth]

A powerfully built she-wolf with fur the color of gold sniffed curiously the fumes rising from a boiling crater. Wrinkling her nose and slitting her copper eyes, she backed away from the cauldron.
"Yick. Sulfur." disdainfully, she stalked away from the crater and back into fresh air.

"You're the one who wanted to come here in the first place, so don't complain." a jet-black she-wolf with electric blue eyes walked up to the golden one. "Said we had to, erm, explore before looking for a pack to join."

The golden she-wolf flicked her tail. " Who needs a pack? Not me. I've had enough of that life." she kicked a black lava-stone with her paw. "Anyways, what is the rush?"

The black she-wolf sighed quietly. "There is no rush, sister, it's just that a pack is safer than being alone."

The golden she-wolf snorted. "I'm not alone. You're here. Anyways, I can take care of myself."

Loner Life

Moon padded through the crater, where she had been born. It was a bit sad. The old place had gotten more and more deserted. She definitely would not want her pups to know she was born in such a place. It even made her discusted. She sighed a bit, still walking through the thick smoke. She coughed a bit. Her nose had always been bad in these parts. Her white paws had ashes on them. She stepped over a small crater, not wanting to cause any harm. She was going to take a step, but she stopped. The sound of voices hit her ears. "Hm?"

She stopped and looked around. Not as if she could see anything. She narrowed her eyes and growled in a low tone. Then she listened closely.

"I'm not alone. You're here. Anyways, I can take care of myself."

Moon got a bit closer to the voices and saw two female wolves. One was golden and another was jet black. Moon narrowed her eyes more to see. Then she called out to them. Hopefully they wouldn't be hurtful towards her. She didn't want to fight right after she had pups. She spoke in a low voice.

"Hello."

The golden she-wolf's ears pricked up, swiveling around and catching the voice. "See? There are other wolves out here. It's not deserted."

"That doesn't make it any better of a place to be." The black she-wolf reasoned. "Not all wolves are nice." she looked over to where she could see the whiteish she-wolf. "Hello there." giving her sister a look, she walked over. Her sister had a bad reputation of being disrespectful to others, not because she was rude, but because she believed that respect must be earned.
"I didn't realize another wolf lived out here, unless you are just passing through like we are." she didn't want to get too close, knowing that the wolf might be hostile.

The golden she-wolf rolled her coppery eyes. "Gosh, sister." plopping her furry haunches onto the ground, she watched her sister take a few steps towards the other wolf and greet it.

Loner Life

The grey female looked at the wolves, observing them closely. Then she narrowed her eyes a bit. She watched the golden female speak and a smile grew upon Moon's face, as if she was a bit happy to see the wolves were not hurtful. Then she gave a nod. "Hello." She looked at the golden female and then her eyes glanced at the black female, who seemed to not want to speak to her that much atleast. Moon looked at the golden wolf and shook her head a bit, looking at the black wolf.

"No worries. I'm not the one you need to worry about. There are other wolves out here that will kill in an instant."

Moon looked around and then looked at the black one, smirking a bit. "I was born here. I'm just visiting back here for old times sake." She gave a quick look around, before looking at the golden wolf, who had spoken. Then she decided to introduce herself first. She stood up straight and padded a bit closer. Her full body was now revealed. She was a dark grey wolf, with white tipped paws and a white tipped tail. Her chest was puffed with a white color. Her green eyes stood out the most, almost glowing.

"My name is Moon."

The black she-wolf wasn't surprised that there were others out here that would kill in an instant. Life was rough, especially in a place where water looked to be as precious as diamonds.
"It doesn't surprise me in the least." She could now see that the she-wolf wasn't white at all, but dark grey with white markings. Her eyes reminded her of her brother Piyanth's eyes; they were the same, bright green.
"I'm new to this place; does it have a name? Speaking of names, mine is Norrisa. The golden she-wolf is my sister, Ramoth. She's a bit wary of strangers, but she won't hurt anybody that doesn't give her a reason to. She's the one who wanted to come explore here in the first place." Norrisa looked over at her sister.

Ramoth, upon hearing her name, stood up. When Nora looked at her, she took it as a sign to come over. Her sister wasn't a big fan of her antisocialist behavior or disrespectful attitude, but they were sisters, and sisters look out for eachother. Walking over, she dipped her head slightly to Moon. What's she done to earn any respect from me?

"This is Moon." Nora introduced. "She grew up here." Hopefully that will earn Ramoth's respect.
