A muscular yet slim silhouette stood at the edge of Gugi Territory. He stood, a familiar scent lingered in the air. Kenai got a whiff of it, recognizing the scent instantly. With the scent still on Kenai's mind, he tipped his head and gave a strong, yet peaceful howl. Kenai sat at the edge of the territory border, patiently waiting. Excitement was building, he hadn't seen Liliana in quite some time and was itching to catch up with her. His tail lightly thumped up and down on the ground. His jet black pelt soaked up all of the sun's rays, to the pointe where he was getting too warm. He saw a near by tree, and walked over to it. He sat under the tree, still waiting.

Star's ears picked up the sound of a wolf at the boarders of her territory. Soon after, the waft of the wolf rolled into her nostrils. His howl seemed strong, a good healthy wolf in search of a new home, she presumed. Leaping down from the perch in her favorite tree where she could watch over her camp, she landed with grace on all four broad paws. Starting to trot at her own pace to the boarder, she bulked up her frame to make herself known to this male that she was the one in charge around these parts. It would be her that he listened and obeyed her. Whatever rank he wanted, he would also have to prove to her that he was capable of achieving that rank. She thought back to Raiza, and knew she didn't want to make the same mistake again.
Now upon the black wolf, she stood over him where he was under the tree right by the scent marks of the territory. "What brings you to the Gugi pack, wolf?" Her tone was not rude if taken the right way, but it was strong and forceful. She lashed her tail, eager for his reply.
(OOC: Sorry for not posting for a while, I've been a little busy.)

OOC: No problem, Leopard! It's great to see you again!  Kenai saw a silhouette in the distance. As it came closer, he stood up on all four paws and straightened his posture. He gave a bow before speaking. "I'm Kenai. It's nice to meet you." He paused, collecting his thoughts. Kenai was a little intimidated by this Alpha Female. "Yes, I'm here because I smelled a familiar scent. I was hoping I would be able to join this pack so see and be with my sister again." |

Star flicked her ears to acknowledge his bow, and looked him in the eyes. Drawing in the smell of the male, she did recognize the scent briefly. It smelt like Liliana. Nodding, she spoke. "Well, Kenai, I think you deserve to join this pack to reunite with your sister, who I'm guessing is Liliana." She tried to give a small smile, but at the moment she wasn't in the mood.
Her smile faltering, she focused on what was more important to her. "What skills will you provide for the pack, though?" There was a little question in her timbre, but not much. All she wanted to do was get this over with and get back to her nice, warm den.

Kenai gave a slight, polite smile as Alphess Star spoke. His face gently lit up when Star said her sister's name. "You're correct, to reunite with my sister." His ears flickered. Kenai knew he could bring a lot to this pack. "Well, I'm very good at both hunting and fighting. I can be very versatile." He thought for a moment, then looked up in the sky and saw the sun still shining brightly. "I can also control the weather." With that, he focused all of his energy and soon there were gray clouds covering up the sun's golden rays. He turned his attention back to Star and once his focus was away from the weather, the clouds disappeared and the sun's golden rays shined down again. "Although, I am still mastering my power, but my talent could be quite useful to this pack."

Star smiled, happy to hopefully gain a new member. "Well, as long as you prove useful, you are welcomed in my pack, and I'm sure your sister will be happy as well. Nodding her approval, sh started to get up, presuming that he was done and would be lead back to camp by her. But when he stated he could control the weather, she turned her head back around with bright, curious eyes as they dimmed at the clouds suddenly coming forth overhead. Smiling broader now, she beckoned with her tail for him to walk beside her back to camp. "Come, we shall talk about this another time. My pack graciously welcomes your skills"

Kenai smiled as the Alphess of Gugi accepted him. His smile was humble but laced with happiness. The sun was now out, shining like it once was before. He gave a slight nod, following the Alphess back to camp.
