Through The Black Fire (Open/ Nygone, Ebony)

Claw stepped onto the ashes of what might have been a store. He took in the smells of this place, it smelled of death and fire. the place was quiet as ever can be. Nothing seemed to move or even breath. His silver fur was the only thing colorful, along with the little trees and often jewelry wrapped around scorched corpses. He thought nothing of this. he looked back to the two wolves behind him, when a screeching noise broke the still silence.

Nygone stepped gingerly around a burnt corpse, making a face. She did not feel very safe here. It was too open, with no shadows to hide the sunlight reflecting off her fur. She dropped down and rolled through a pile of ashes, dulling her coat. "that's better." her voice echoed eerily in the empty town. Shaking the extra soot off herself, she padded after Claw when suddenly a screeching noise shattered the silence.

Ebony had known this town and who made it the way it was. She looked at the ashes as the surrounded her. She could still smell fire from the ashes and smoke that left the ground. She looked at the sky. The grey smoke made the sky look grey itself. She frowned a bit, with her mouth open. The thought of a whole town of humans and wolves, perished ..it made her feel lucky to be alive. She shook her head and walked through the ashes. Some wolf was addicted to flames and death and she burnt it down and was never seen again. It kinda scared Ebony. The wolf could still be alive. The sound of a screech interrupted her thoughts. "Hm?" Ebony looked around.

Claw ran towards the sound of the loud screech. As he got closer to it, it became unbearable and started to just to crouch as it pained him. He gritted his teeth as he was in terrible pain.

"Claw!!!" Nygone yelled, running towards him, only to be stopped by the ear-splitting noise. She gritted her teeth and tried to block it out. "what....the hell.....is that???"

(hey, I suggested a new power, I was thinking of using it for Nygone.)

Ebony clenched her teeth. "What is that!!" She put her ears down. "No.." She opened her eyes to look at Claw and Nygone. "Get away from it.." She managed to grab Claw with her mouth and pull him away. Then she grabbed Nygone. "Get away I said!"

Nygone scrabbled backwards away from the sound, her head spinning. she got all four paws steady and w=ran back to Ebony and Claw.

the screech turned into a roar and a nearby pile of ash exploded. a large black wolf with glowing orange eyes jumped out. smoke was curling from his mouth and a moment later, he hiccuped, fire shooting out. "Great stars aboved!" he roared. "i hate the hiccups!" he hiccuped again, making the weird screeching noise.

Claw growled "who are you?" he tried to yell. "How are you able to do that?" he asked trying to block out the sound. He looked at Ebony "thanks for getting me out of there" he chuckeled. "Keep your guard up he has special powers" he said wary of the new wolf.

[AshWolf]

Ebony looked at the new wolf and growled. "What kind of hiccup is that supposed to be?" She looked over to Claw and nodded. "No problem. Your welcome to Nygone." She looked over at Nygone and then back at the new wolf. "Stop hiccuping! Got it?!"

the black wolf's ears shot up and he sneezed, setting a nearby stump on fire. "Whoopse. hehe." he got his hiccups under control. "Who am I?" he said. "Besides a wolf that has hiccups? don't worry, i've stopped now. darn ashes give me hiccups. My name's Omenfyre." he realined the rope he wore around his neck, making the rat skull hit the ring with a little pinging noise.

Nygone looked at the newcomer. "okayyyy....." she looked at Claw and Ebony.

[AshWolf]

Ebony growled and stepped towards the wolf. "Listen Omenfyre. I don't know why your here, but we are trying to go through this place..so don't slow us down." She then looked at Nygone. "Don't worry..your not the only one seeing this fool.." She let her eyes fall back on Omenfyre and a slight snicker came out.

Claw looked at Omenfyre with careful eyes. He padded towards him and stopped inches away from his face. He narrowed his eyes carefully examining him. He circled him for a couple seconds looking at him up and down before stopping at his face again. "I know you from somewhere....." he growled slightly.

Omenfyre ignored Ebonys snide comments and payed attention to Claw. "ive surefire never seen you before." Omenfyre said. "now listen, if yall got somewhere you need to go, I won't stop you. No need for hostility." he looked at Ebony. "and I am no fool."

[AshWolf]

Ebony shrugged. "Whatever. Come on guys." She turned away from the rest of them and began to walk away. Then she stopped, figuring she could wait for the others. She didn't feel right about that other wolf. Hiccups that make annoying screeching noises. She looked back at the others. "Come on.." She said firmly.

Claw stayed for a minute before continuing on "hmmm" he said softly looking back at the wolf. "i cant remember what I saw that wolf do before, but I did see him" he couldnt shake the feeling of something cold and dark about him.
