Times had been hard and alphess Sullivan had grown weary, giving birth to pups had affected her usual ruthlessness and now she was nothing but an empty shell, not showing her face in moons. Her daughter farrah had left and she had no visits from shadino or ciardia, she rarely saw night either. Yet she still kept watch over the pack from a distance.
And tonight would be her last watching the Pack.
Through the dust Of the barren lands of leoni, two young black wolves padded. The larger was a male with long spikes fur, large claws and pale Pink eyes. The smaller was a female. They had slipped across the borders like shadows and gone unnoticed. The male had dark intentions and the females even darker. He had been tempted into killing the alphess through belief that she is the cause of his mothers mental state, unknowing that sullivan herself was his aunt. The females intent was to take her place using the males strength. Now they moved increasingly closer towards their goal.
