Death to a Hokiero (Open)

[Leopard]

Eve dashed through the forest of what she had just seen Fathom inflict on the young, Innocent wolf of the Hokiro pack. She was not startled, but found her chance to kick Fathom out of his beta position. Surly the Alphas won't think Fathom was doing good in killing? She thought to herself. But this was her only chance.

Eve slowed down as she neared the camp. Her black silhouette in the growing darkness. Padding across the camp, she tipped her head back into a small but strong howl to alert the Alphas.

Fathom was relaxing, chatting with Scar when he heard Eve howl. "oh brother. Here comes the complaint bus."

Scar:" huh?"

Fathom:"you'll find out soon enough."

[Leopard]

Night was on his rock, looking out over his territory. Shadino was beside him. "One day, this will be yours. You'll rule this with obidience." Shadino looked around. 'Yes father.' A howl interrupted their talk. Night was silent. He quickly jumped down infront of Eve. "This better be good.." He snarled. He looked down on her. Shadino padded up behind his father. He was dead silent. He stared at Eve with his deep purple eyes.

Eve narrowed her eyes. They think I'm a pup! She bit back a responce that would have gotten her killed. "I want to inform you that there had been an unnessesary murder."

Fathom Shadow-Walked behind Eve and reappeared. Bowing to Alpha Night, he looked at Eve. "I really don't think this is nessisary, Beta Eve." he spoke calmly. Facing Alpha Night, he bowed again. "Alpha Night, Eve and I have a little misunderstanding. A Horkiro wolf was trespassing on Leoni territory. I challenged the wolf, but they refused to leave. As I attacked, pushing the wolf back over the border, Eve arrived. She only saw the end of the dispute." he paused. "I only meant to push the intruder back over the border and give him some scratches to think about, but the wolf freaked. I was going to grab his scruff, but he twisted violently and my teeth tore his throat, unfortunately killing him." he dipped his head. "that is what happened."

Night shrugged. "Murder? So, I kill all the time and Hokiro is the enemy. You should be bowing to Fanthom for getting rid of the problem." He gave a nod to Fanthom. Then he looked at Eve. "Look, this pack is evil, manipulated, so get with the motive got it? Unless he went onto their territory first, we won't get far, if you have proof he did then cough it up. If not then you'll all be dismissed." Shadino nudged Eve a little and growled. 'If Fanthom didn't do it, then I would have.'

Fathom bowed to Alpha Night again. "see, Beta Eve, the ends justify the means." he paused, looking at Eve. "if you have any objection to my reasoning, my ears are open." his eyes did not reflect the respect in his voice though.

[Leopard]

Eve shook her head. She looked at Alpha Night. "Yes, Alpha Night, I do understand this pack is evil and Hokiro is the enemy. And I will not bow to him. I treat him as an equal and nothing more. I shall not grovel at his paws for a kill that should not have been made."

She switched her gaze to Fathom. "You were over the border first. The pup was close to the border, maybe ten tail-lengths away, but certainly not over it. What I saw was an attack for no reason." She said this with a growl. An edge in her voice she went back to her alpha. "If you don't believe me, your proof is in Hokiro. Two wolves were present when the pup was killed."

Walking past Alpha Night to her den, she flicked her tail on Shadino's flank. "I'm sure you would have made a necessary kill, Shadino."

Fathon snarled as Eve flicked Shadino. "show more respect!" he body slammed Eve and stood over her. "that is the Alphas son you're talking to!" he growled.

Chi stepped out of the shadows no one knew he was there he had been practicing and getting better at hiding when he was tracking. He walked over on silent paws and bowed respectfully to Night and Shadino as he spoke softly. " You know me Alpha Night and I have never lied to you. So when i say that Fathom had crossed over to the boarder to make the kill before the cub was even close you know it was true. The cub never had time to react and a cub it was not a warrior even fit for a challenge. " Chi shakes his head softly "He didn't protect the pack he might even cause some of our deaths cause he was seen by the enemy wolves who probably are gonna be bent on retaliation. But will they now attack us or will they go after one of the heirs. That is what we must prepare for Cause it will happen because of fathoms thoughtless act." Chi noddes respectfully to Eve as he walked closer.

Fathom sighed. "you really don't get the concept "Horkiro is the enemy" do you?" he turned to Alpha Night. "there is proof the wolf came over the border, Alpha Night."

Night stared at Eve. When she flicked Shadino, he snickered. Then he spoke. "Calm.yourselves." He looked at Shadino, who smirked a bit, as if saying 'it's fine.' Then as Chi came towards them, Night smiled, gracefully. He listened to Chi and then glanced at Fantom. "I see. Well. Eve, I understand your reasoning. If someone came onto our territory and killed my pup, I would start a war.."

Shadino nudged Chi. 'Nice timing.'

Night had trusted Chi the most. He knew he would never lie to him. "Everyone quiet." He looked at the wolves. "Fanthom. You are sentenced to time in the prisons until further notice. Not another word of it." He gave a nod to Eve and Chi. "Take him away." Shadino began to chuckle. 'Buh bye!'
