Takoda nodded. Alkai grabbed a hind leg from the elk that they caught and started to tug on it. Bella came up from behind and went over to the front of the elk, biting down on it's front leg and dragging it with Alkai. Takoda got the other front leg and started to carry the elk with the three hunters. It was a good day.

Phantom was the biggest and the strongest of the four. He stepped up and took the elk by its neck. Angel grabbed a back leg and Bluefire got its unuaually large tail.

Phantom was infront of the rest of the wolves carrying the same elk and could see where he was going. He followed Bella and the other hunters.

Flame padded ahead as they trooped on. He scented the camp and gave a howl.

Leopardfang pricked her ears and licked her lips. "The hunting patrol is bringing more food!" She turned to Brightstorm as her belly growled.

Magnolia heard her mate's howl and padded towards him and the others. She noticed two quite large elk being dragged by them. She went over to Flame. "It looks like the hunt was successful." She smiled.

Flame licked Magnolia." indeed. This will last us a few days." he directed the others." set the elk down over there, and take some to Leopardfang and Brightstorm."

Magnolia looked up at the sky. The sun was shining and not a cloud in sight. Warm rays reflected off of Magnolia's gray brown pelt. She looked back at Flame. "Well, it's the early spring, so the weather should be nice..."

Brightstorm dug her face into the elk.She had felt as if she hadn't eaten in years. And now more than ever her pups needed milk.

Magnolia padded over to an elk. She ripped a piece off of the body and started to chew. She wasn't feeling too good for the past few days and the meat wasn't helping either. Her stomach made a rumbling noise and she looked down. She felt a little woozy and stumbled back to her den, leaving the piece of meat on the ground. She slowly lied down in her den, taking in deep slow breaths. Her belly was a larger bump, and it was now obvious that she was pregnant.
