Alkai, Bella, and Takoda followed after Gamma Bluefire. All of their paws softly touched to dirt ground, careful not to step on any small twigs.

Leopardfang couldn't stay made at her friend she hadn't seen in years. She smiled at Brightstorm. "That's okay. So, what happened to you after the tornado hit? How did you stay alive?" She cocked her head while her pups still suckled her teets.

Flame smiled. " that's good. Accelerate to press-paw speed!" he sped up and burst through the bushes, scaring the herd into a run.

Alkai,Takoda, and Bella were already in their places when the herd scattered. Takoda knew that they should be hunting with the others. A female elk was running right towards the three hunters. Takoda crouched down and as the female elk went past him, he jumped out from under the bushes and started to chase the elk. Bella was farther away from the other two and when the elk was near Bella, she jumped out and swiped her paw. Her paw tripped the elk and the elk landed hard on the ground. Alkai ran up to the elk and bit down on it's neck, cutting off it's air supply. All three wolves were breathing heavily.

Magnolia sat in her den, alone. Well, she wasn't alone, she had LeopardFang and Brightstorm, but she knew that they would want to catch up with each other, so she didn't intend to bother them. She glanced at the ground then outside. She padded outside and walked to a spot where the sun was shining down on the ground. She laid down there, soaking up the warm rays of sunlight. She suddenly felt a small kick near her abdomen and looked down. She smiled slightly. She was in desperate need of some company.

I decided I had to tell him about me pregancy because we would probably die that day so I did. He smiled as if I were joking then I blocked out and woke up in the desert next to him. I thought I was dead, but I wasn't.", She hoped her pups enjoyed her story.

Flame noted the hunters break away. He spotted an old elk limping at the back of the herd. " Phantom!b base that old female elk with the right hind limp towards us!"

Phantom nodded and pelted away from his group. He came up the the elk and started nipping it towards the others.

The panicked elk ran right towards the others.

Bluefire was dropping back now, trying not to get in the Alpha's way.
Phantom and Angel crouched, their muscles ready to attack at any moment.

The confused elk spun in a circle. Wolf scent was everywhere.
Flame:" NOW!" he lept and bit the elks leg.

Angel went for the stomach as Phantom went for the neck. He hit her streight on, knocking her to the ground. She was still strong, and he fought to keep her down. Angel pounced on the elk's stomach and made the elk gasp for air.

Flame darted forward and snapped the elks spine. He stepped back respectfully. " thank you for giving your life to us." he murmured.

The elk had not been killed yet. To put it out of it's missery, Angel stepped forward and bit it's life pumping artery. Bluefire came over and stood. Then, all three bowed respectfuly for her life they had killed.
