Magnolia woke up. It was a lovely spring day. Most of the colorful flowers already were blooming or had bloomed. The sun's rays danced on the ground and the sky was a gentle baby blue color, not a cloud in sight. Magnolia yawned softly, making sure the pups wouldn't wake up. Cannon and Cobalt slept next to her, Magnolia's fur acted like a blanket for the two. She still felt an overwhelming amount of pain and sadness. She laid her head on her two front paws but didn't go back to sleep. Magnolia just looked at the dirt den wall...

Brightstar looked at Magnolia she wanted to ask her if she was okay but she would wake the pups. Daystreak was woken up by her sister Duststorm who also woke up her other sisters.
"Duststorm! I was dreaming about catching a eagle!", Daystreak yipped.
"Sorry furball! I was bored", Duststorm grinned.
"Hush, the other pups are sleeping, you mustn't wake them up.", Brightstar growled.

Cannon was woken by the yipping and protested loudly.
Flame emerged, covered in twigs, from the bush he had fallen exhausted into the night before. He stumbled into the den and say next to Magnolia.

Diesil woke up first. She wished she could see as she stumbled back to her mother. She started nursing silently.

Magnolia heard all of the other pups whining and first ignored it until Cannon was awaken by the noise and started to cry as well. She gently licked Cannon. Soon after Cobalt was awake and crying and Magnolia was both licking Cannon and Cobalt. "Shh..." Magnolia cooed as she kept licking the two pups. Magnolia heard paw steps and looked up, only to see her mate stumbling into their den. He was full of twigs. She smirked slightly and looked up at him. "You're covered in tiny twigs, where have you been?" She said with a small somber laugh. She then started to groom Flame.

"Sorry Magnolia, Duststorm woke your pups.", Brightstorm glared at her pup.
"But, Mom! I wanted to play!!", Duststorm protested.
"You and the other pups are too young!", Brightstorm growled. Mudmist came padding in,"Brightstorm! Don't scold her!", He growled. He didn't understand what his pup was going to do in the future.

Cannons yips quieted and he nursed happily.
Flame pulled a twig out of his fur. "I guess I fell asleep in a bush."

Magnolia's stomach quietly rumbled. She was starting to get hungry and she was assuming that Brightstorm and LeopardFang were hungry as well. She lazily got up out of her position and stood up. She turned to Flame. "I'm starting to get hungry, and I'm sure everyone else in hungry. I'm going to go find the hunters." She quietly padded out of the den and started to walk towards the hunter's den. She peered inside their den and saw the three hunters peacefully sleeping. Takoda groggily woke up and saw the Alphess. Magnolia gave him a small smile before speaking. "I'm sorry to wake you, but everyone is hungry." She went back to her den right after the hunters were awake. She laid back down with her two pups and her mate.
Takoda nodded and then he nudged Alkai and Bella. They both yawned and knew it was time to hunt again. All three of the hunters were up and ready. They padded off into the woods in search of food...

Flame looked at Cannon, who had started yipping again. "my, he's got lungs."
Cannon:"yaya! Yama!"
Flame:"what's he trying to say?"

Magnolia smiled at Brightstorm but then jumped slightly, she was shocked to hear her son's voice. She looked down at Cannon she had a sweet yet confused expression on her face. "What did you say, Sweetie?" Cobalt was still nursing... He was very quiet and didn't cry too much unlike Cannon, who was a very vocal pup.
OOC: I didn't feel like going into detail about the hunt...
One hour later..
Takoda dragged in a huge buck by it's two front legs. It was a very heavy male. Alkai helped Takoda by dragging the male by it's antlers. Bella was a few feet behind. Her mouth was full of three white rabbits that were limp in her mouth. The three hunters put the carcasses close to the center of the campsite, but it was slightly closer to the Alpha's den. The three laid there next to their catches to catch their breathes.

Cannon had quieted and was sleeping peacefully next to his brother.
Flame smelled the kill. "the hunters are back!" he padded outside.
