On My Way (open, Ebony)

Claw spat on the ground he could sense the annoyance in Ebony's voice "I guess we all have the same destination" he sighed. He looked at Nygone then back at Ebony. "This is going to be a long trip all together...." he sighed. He wasn't one to care but he couldn't help to for these two females.

Ebony rolled her eyes, as Claw spit. Then she looked at Claw and Nygone. "..Fun." She said sarcastically. Then she ran ahead of the two wolves. "Shake a leg you two." She called back to them. Then she sniffed. Night was drawing near. She smirked, as the stars came out. Then she let her deep blue eyes scan the area. It was barren.

Nygone felt her fur fluff out, but she made it lay flat. " grrr....." she raced after the she-wolf and quickly caught up to her. " so you think your the fastest wolf in the desert, eh?"

Ebony raised an eyebrow at Nygone. "Don't put words in my mouth mutt..." She raised her lip a little, showing her teeth. "I didn't say that.." She looked into the female's eyes and gave a cold stare. "No one is the fastest. So don't make it a competition.." With that, she padded ahead, turning her back on the female. Who did this bitch think she was? Ebony obviously was the more mature one, she didn't start a fight with that mongruel. She let her head hang low and sniff the area.

Nygone rolled her eyes. "gosh. what am i to do with stiff wolves? cant they see a fun competition when its jumping in their face?" she grumbled. so much for the old tactic of making-friends-by-friendly-challenges. she veered to the left and walked in the shadow of a scraggly thornbush, immediently relaxing as she fell back into the overhang. looking back, she searched for Claw. "Where'd he go?"

Claw laid back as the two femalea argued with each other then separated. He then fell into the sand. He just layed still for a momment to rest. He looked around the barren empty desert floor "what am I doing out here..." he said softly. He just stared off into a daydream.

Ebony rolled her eyes at the female, then she took in afew of her words. She did notice that Claw wasn't with them. She looked around and then sniffed. She looked into the distance. "This way." She said, padding towards his scent. Then she saw him lying on the sand. She nudged him with her paw. "Hey. You stuck or something?"

Nygone noticed Claw laying down and trotted over. " are you ok?" she cocked her head, accidently reflecting a moonbeam into his face. She jumped back." sorry." she muttered, embarrassed.

Claw didnt move while he heard their voices "yeah....Im fine" he said softly. He winced as a beam of light hit his face. he slowly got up "lets keep moving..." he said padding away from them. He scratched at the sand as he padded "what am i doing here.....?" he kept saying.

Nygone listened to Claw mutter. She turned away and put them on her left and the moon on her right. " will I always have to do this dance with light?" she muttered. " I was born to walk in shadows.....sigh."

Far across the duns, a grey streak dusted the night. It moved almost impossibly fast across the sand. A hood of grey cloth was drapped over its head, covering the right side of its face. One ice-cold blue eye glowed from its head. That eye followed the track of three wolves across the sand. The eye homed in hungrily on the silvery figure. The huge grey wolf rose to his paws and ran down the hill on a direct collision corse with the three wolves.

Ebony noticed that the two wolves behind her were up and moving. She glanced at both of their markings. Then she thought. As usual she was the odd one out of the bunch. That didn't bother her one bit. She looked foward. "There is a clearing up ahead. We can take a break up there."

Then she jerked her head to her right. She could smell another wolf. Then she sensed one coming towards them. Ebony quickly ran towards it and leaped at it. Then she sunk it's teeth into it's neck.

Claw looked back as Ebony attacked a lone wolf. He ran to help her out. He noticed the drape over its head which kept hept its face a mystery. He tackeled the wolf and pinned it down "who are you?" he growled standing above it.

The grey wolf threw Ebony and Claw off himself with surprising strength. " stand aside and Occo wont hurt you. Occo only wants the silver one." he stared hungrily at Nygone. " Occo thinks the male wolf looks like the silver one.... But I killed all your family, silver one, didn't Occo?"

Nygone:" you! I've seen you before! You tryed to kill me as a pup! And it was you that tryed to push the bricks on me in Sorrid!"

Occo smiled. " hunted you long has Occo. And now you will die!" he lept at Nygone.

[AshWolf]

Ebony landed on her paws and growled. She looked at the wolf, who called himself Occo. She could care less about Nygone or her past. She looked at Claw. "I don't think I should be involved in this one..I will let them fight it out.." She sat down. Then she let her tail curl around her paws. "Listen mutt..I think that if you want to live, you should get fighting.." She advised.

Claw twitched his tail then calmed himself. "Its not my fight..." he said looking away. He calmly sat down his face full of thought. He looked at the odd wolf called Occo. He then slowly got up and padded over to him "why do you want to kill Nygone?" he asked with a slight growl.
