Meeting the Apprentices (Open, DT, Leopardfang)

Aztaz smiled. "me too! Its quite fun, isnt it?"

Kindle nodded. "I haven't, but the trees are great for practicing silent moving."

[Leopard]

Lash smiled too. "Yeah, it is. I'll race ya there!" She sped off after her last word.

"I can teach you if you want. It's pretty simple." He padded slowly next to Kindle as they neared the trees.

Aztaz took off after her. paws pounding, he raced past her. "Haha! catch me if you can!" he was looking behind him as he reached the trees and didn't see Ripfang and plowed right through him.

Kindle shurgged. "Sure, but i don't think i'll be good at it. im more of a ground wo-" Aztaz ran infront of him and smacked into Ripfang. "whoa!!!"

[Leopard]

Lash only slowed down because her brother and another wolf were right it there path. She gasped when Aztaz knocked into Ripfang. She padded up to them. "Are you two alright?"

Ripfang was listening to Kindle when a large ball of fur and bones sent him tubbling to the ground. He came up, nose bloody, and growled, hackles up, and teeth barred at the Aztaz. "Who do you think you ar-" He was towering over him, when he realized who the wolf was.

Aztaz wiggled out from under Ripfang and scrambled to his paws, fur fluffed out. "Sorry! i was racing Lash!"

Kindle began to laugh. "well, good thing you didn't hit a tree! that would hurt!"

[Leopard]

Ripfang began to calm down, his fur lying flat, and his muscles loosening. "Just be more careful next time, kay?" He looked at Aztaz, almost fully relaxed again.

Lash started to giggle and knocked her hip into her brother's side. "You look funny when you're all wild up!"

Aztaz nodded, out of breath. "i-pant, pant-will." he shook the dust from his fur and licked the bits that were sticking up back down.

[Leopard]

"Now that we're all ok, why don't we go to the trees now?" Lash asked.

Ripfang gave her an evil eye.

Aztaz nodded and wandered into the shade of an old oak. He promptly fell asleep.

Kindle elbowed Ripfang. "you really scared him hard, man. With a snarl like that, you could scare away all your enemies!"

[Leopard]

Lash followed Aztaz a little slower, and watched him go to sleep. She leaped up a tree and found a good paw-hold, propelling herslef onto the lowest branch and hunger all four legs over while resting her head on the branch, a part of it hanging over as well. Her eyes became weaker, and soon, she too drifted into a calm sleep.

Ripfang smiled humbly and looked at Kindle. "Yeah, his face was priceless! Then the last part of what he said registered in his brain. "Ha, ya really think so? I only learned from the best! Ripfang didn't know if Kindle knoew who in fact he was talking about. He was thinking of Vera.

Kindle laughed. "it does work with lone wolves. groups, not so much." he cocked his head. "the best? has Zaheth been giving you private lessons?"

[Leopard]

Ripfang listened, but then shook his head. "Nah, when my mother was around, she scared off some wolves who tried to take me and my sister. She had that scary face when she growled or got angry."

Kindle chuckled. "you must have inherited it from her." he cocked his head. "That gives me an idea! Maybe the GAs should have a scary face competition!" he laughed. "whoever scares the most wolves within an hour wins!" he announced dramatically. "we could even make up scary-sounding names for each other!" he joked. "Ripfang the Evil who Kills his Enemies with scary faces!"

[Leopard]

Ripfang smirked. "Well, I think we know who would win that!" He started to laugh at Kindle's idea. "They should be code names though! Like short ones that are easy to remember!"

Kindle nodded excitedly. "let's bring it up with Arkan at dinner!"
