The sun was just about to set. The sky was now a beautiful orange blue color. Liliana walked up to the top of the hill and sat down. She was lonely and needed a companion. She howled a sweet howl and waited.

Blaze pricked his ears. It was Lilianna howling. He struggled with his choice. He loved Javo, but was afraid of her. He shook with indecision. He howled back.

Liliana's ears listened to Blaze's howl. She ran to him her tail wagging. She licked his cheek and smiled happily.

Blaze followed. He looked left to hide the tear that slid down his face.
Javo had been watching nearby. She burst into silent years and ran off.
