Moon sat in the Northern Plains. She had been teveling for a while and decided to rest. The stars glimmered above her. She looked up to them, letting her jaw slowly drop at the sight.

Scourge smiled. "my little legs are not built for long-distance travel." he tipped his head back. "the stars are amazing. this is the first time ive seen them without a layer of smog covering the sky." he wispered, enthralled.

Moon nodded. "Yeah.." She heard a noise from behind a rock. She got low and went for the rock. She went to the rock and noticed a baby fox in a patch of long grass. "Scourge. Come look at what I found.qk She said filled with pitty.

Moon looked down at the fox pup. "You go I will wait here with the pup." She layed beside the pup to keep him warm.

Scourge crept up over the hills. He saw a human removing a dead fox from a trap. Scourge growled in anger. There was another fox in a nearby trap, a female with the scent of milk on her. The human raised his rifle. Scourge let out a roar and lept forward, ripping the rifle from the hunters grasp. He quickly transformed into human for, took out his gun, and shot the hunter. The sound echoed across the hills.

Moon's ears perked up to the echo of a gunshot. "Scourge!" She picked up the fox pup and ran towards where she heard the shot.

Moon saw Scourge and a female fox. She slowly padded to it. She let the pup go to the mother. The fox ran to the female. Moon padded to the trap and tapped. it. }t let go of the female.

Moon growled and walked over too it. "Rip it to shreds!" She picked up the body in her mouth and shook it around. The mother fox limped away with her baby.
