A dark gray she-wolf padded up to where the moon shined on her coat just right. Her light purple eyes were quite focused. Her black line stretched from her forehead to her neck. She longed for a mate. She tilted her head back and let out a howl.

The black wolf with peculiar feathery white marking made his way to where he seen a wolf of utmost beauty. He came close to her and looked, curious and wanting... yearning for a mate. He threw back his head and let out a gentle howl.

The she-wolf turned to see a black wolf with white markings, return a howl. She smiled and knew she found her mate.
