Comet growled, "were you born in the desert? no. you smell of grasses and plains, not heat and sand. i lived in Sorrid City. my father was a desert native. he taught me this. i traveled from Sorrid City to here and have lived here longer than any other place. i know its secrets like my own tail."

Angel rolled her eyes. She snapped at his tail before he ran off. "I bet I can!" Angel snarled to him. She started to jog in the dirrection of Iroshi. "Stupid, stubborn, fleabag!" She also cursed under her breath.

Angel had been going in the right direction for days. She haden't gotten there yet because she stopped very often because of the heat. Her pelt was also thick so she had to try to cool herself down the best she could in the little shade she found. She rememebered her times in the desert. She hated them.
After 5 days after last seeing Comet she saw the green hills of Iroshi territory. It took her two hours at a trot to reach the end and finally feel grass under her paws. She was here...
