Angel jumped to her paws. "Alright! Thank you sooooo much!" Angel padded beside Comet. She felt like starting a conversation. "So, are you Blaze's brother?"

Angel nodded. "Oh. I don't like the Death Crater. It's kinda strange." Angel looked in the distance. As far as the eye could see, there was just sand. She siged. "How long do you think it will take to get to the Iroshi borders?"

Comet:" two days at a walk, one day at a run, if you go strait. We can't go strait. Because you aren't used to the harsh climate. We will skirt the edge untill you have become used to the heat and then set a more direct course. It should take four days at a walk, three at a run."

Comet nodded." running will help keep your paws off the hot sand, but there is a danger of overheating, so we can't run for more than a half hour in direct sun. We will travel mostly at night."

Angel laughed. "We don't have to sleepp a whole day or night! Why don't we sleep in the day when it is hotter?"

Comet:" this will be the plan: sleep by day, hunt by dawn and dusk, travel by night. Also, watch for signs of sandstorms and dust devils. Tell me ASAP if you see swirling sand, many animals running, or if you hear roaring or wind noises."

Angel looked seriouse for a moment. "Yes sir!" She souluted with her paw to Comet. After a few seconds she laughed. "Good idea."

Comet looked sideways at Angel." it's not funny. One speck of sand may seem harmless, but a whole hill of sand can kill a grizzly. Most inexperienced wolves go mad or die from heat stroke, if they are lucky. The unluck ones are buried alive or blasted to death by sandstorms. Dust devils, all they can do is get sand everywhere, but they are dangerous because sand in your eyes is very harmful."
