Fathom bared his teeth. "Speak with more respect when adressing your betters. Scar has informed me that you seem prejudged against him and i, with some odd idea that we can't be trusted. why is this?"

Ralph looked up slowly. "If I can stay here with Chi and you and..mabey even Scar and Fantom...and Night." He looked down.

Chi turned away " My family always said that respect is earned it is not given cause it is demanded. " Chi looked up at Fathom. " And when you arrived the first thing you did was try and get Scar promoted. The same wolf that i overheard plotting to move up and hinted at taking out the alpha's with Vera. Course Vera vetoed the idea and it was apparently scrapped but still it was said. " Chi shook his head.

Chi looked over "well then you have your answer then, Beta Fathom" He said softly and respectfully but realized that the beta would never understand. "I guess we have nothing more to say to one another. " Chi turned and walked away. Fathom did nothing to ease his concerns or worries he only strengthened them.

Ralph looked back and saw Chi walking away. He ran back to him. "Chi! Haha." He stopped and looked to his right. "Do you smell that..?" He padded to his right, sniffing.

Eve was shadow walking towards Ralph and the others. "Is it me? I thought I was downwind." Eve calmly walked ou of the shocked of a tree and came to front Ralph. "I am beta Eve. Nothing like beta Fathom."

Ralph nodded and stood up. Beta Eve was the female's name. Ralph looked at Eve. "Hello..I'm Ralph." She had said she was nothing like Fanthom. "So you are meaner?" He looked down as he spoke.

Chi chuckled softly " Naw she much nicer. " Chi said with a small wink. "besides i think most females are nicer to pups you know they all have the maternal instincts. Or that's what i was told when i was younger. I wasn't always of this pack you know. I used to have a big family and we had our own pack but killers came and took them all out from oldest to the youngest. I still never found out just why they wanted them all dead. It makes no sense. " Chi frowned softly. " I also don't know why your father and Night are at odds not liking each other. Your suppose to be family I always though family stuck together. But then there must be a reason we know nothing about. "

Eve glared back at Fathom an then tired back to Ralph and the others. "Yes, I do believe I am much nicer than that flea ridden skunk bag. But that's just my opinion." Eve said in a sweet voice. "But, don't underestimate me for my size. I am just as good of a fighter as Fathom. Enough about him, though." Eve looked at Ralph, studying him up and down. "You seem to have a more stocky body shape, better for fighting rather than hunting."
Vera nodded. "I agree. Show us your fighting stance."
