Ash thought he had been alone long enough. he knew he was struggling to cope with a wolves life, and thought he needed someone to help him. [even if it was a girl]
he stood on a boulder, tilted his head to the sky, and howled a long, loud howl for anyone to hear.

Crevice heard a long howl. She quickly ran to it and noticed a male wolf. She smurked and replied with a howl.

Ash, with all his energy, perked his ears up and ran to the howl. in the distance he would see a black figure, but couldnt really make-out who or even what it is. when he finally reached the wolf, he thought instantly of how mature she looked. she could most definatly help him in the world, but he also saw how beautiful she looked - and his ears fell.
"You answered my call, may i know your name?" he said in his calm, relaxed voice.

Crevice stood up straight. She then dipped her head to look up at the male. "My name is Crevice. Do you have a name?" She spoke calmly.

Ash nodded slightly.
"Yes, Crevice, i too have a name. i am called Ash" he tried hard to speak in a formal language, just to impress this girl he had just met. but it seemed he was going well.

Ash looked back at Crevice, with her black fur.
"I came for a mate, i have a history, most wolves dont like it much but i enjoyed it.. but aside from that i decided i needed a mate so i came out here and howled for all to hear!" he explain in his energetic voice, loosing his formal language gradually. he then shook his head
"Why are you here?" he asked.

Crevice smiled. "You are fine to me Ash." She looked down. "I-I heard your howl and as you wanted a mate..so did I." She looked at hin.

Kya crouched, and so did Zia and Xena." now!" the three lept onto Ash and Crevice. Zia grabbed Ash and chucked him into a mud puddle. Kya bowled Crevice over, and Xena shook Ash around by his scruff before dropping him in the mud again. The three ran off cackling, cream tails waving merrily behind them.

Crevice fell back, as another wolf bowled on her. "Hey!" She ran over to Ash. "Are you ok?" She helped him up. Then she growled and ran over to the three wolves and pounced at them all. "What's your problem? Huh?"
