OCC: Ok after Kei posts let's wait for Feral.
Shoji rose up with a yawn. He stretched out his body. Then he stood at Camp grounds. He decided to wait for Thorn there. He layed on a branch in a tree, waiting.
Night padded to where he saw Vera. He noticed Thorn didn't start yet. "Hm." He decided to wait for Chi. He gave a nod to Vera. "Vera."

ooc: sorry for not posting earlier, being swamped with work
Thorn padded into the clearing and saw Vera and Night, up in a tree she saw Shoji. 'What's he doing? Taking notes or something? I'm teaching him on his own in the morning...' She thought to herself. She walked up to Night and Vera, dipping her head to the alpha she spoke. "Where is the youngster?.."

Night looked around. "Chi is late. He will report soon." He looked up at Shoji. "What are you doing?" Shoji looked at Night. "Just observing..Seeing how they train Assasins from Head Assasins." Night shrugged. "Fine by me." He looked at Thorn. "Rema Thorn. As my promise. I will not interrupt your training again..I think you have it under control."

Chi hurried over quietly and smiled when he saw Night "Hi night you came to watch." He smiled and looked around and saw that everyone was already there even shoji. He was ready but still a lot nervous. He didn't know what they were gonna learn today.

Vera dipped her head each in turn to Night and Thorn. "I'm ready to learn." She wagged her tail a little and looked at Chi who was running late. She couldn't wait to see what Thorn had to teach them.

Thorn nodded to Night before seeing the youngster walk over. "That's a nice smile you have there, could be useful if you can do that on demand." She said slyly, after all, some of the deadliest assassins were the back stabbers like herself. Wolves who could attack from the inside by befriending them them then betraying them. Thorn was well experienced in the field of faking smiles, feigning innocence and playing the loyal best friend role before silencing them. "We need more fakers in this pack so we'll have to work on your lying skills too..."
Thorn turned and led Vera and Chi into the center of the clearing. "First i want to see what skills you both have in being unseen before i teach you anything. Assassins must be silent, invisible to their target and must know how to conceal their scent to remain unnoticed." She turned and looked about her. The clearing was a circle made up of boulders, jagged rocks and twisted, dying trees packed quite close together. It was about the only place in Leoni that had some sort of life in it even though the trees were pathetically thin and scrawny from lack of nutrients, here was the only place you'd be able to see anything grow. "Both of you go out of the clearing seperately, i want to see how you'd go about trying to ambush me."

Night padded over to the tree where Shoji was. He leaned against it. Shoji watched the two train. "So? Do you think Chi will succeed?" Night nodded. "Of course. If well trained.." Shoji smurked. "It's funny how you have faith in him." Night looked up at Shoji. "I just know..he'll do fine." Shoji smurked, showing his teeth. "And Vera?" Night nodded. "Same for her."

Vera nodded to Thorn and padded off. She was very good at hiding, and she always found the best spots to role in to hide her sent. She found a patch of sweet smelling berries so she roled in them. Her dark fur helped her hide in shadows too. She waited fpr Chi to get in position.

Chi silently surveyed the land taking in every rock and tree and available spots to hide. He being city breed did not know much about hiding his scent but he did know that to hunt you had to be downwind. He raised his head and checked which way the wind was blowing before getting into position. His footsteps quiet and light not disturbing even a leaf on the ground.

Thorn watched the directions they chose to go in and different they were. She was pleasantly surprised that the youngster knew to go downwind of her so she couldn't catch his scent. Vera took a different option by muddying her scent with something else and soon Thorn was finding it very difficult to trace either of them. 'Good, good...' She thought to herself. Chi raising his head slightly was the only thing that gave his position away while Thorn could hear a slight ruffle of Vera rolling in something though her dark coat still kept her well concealed. 'At least they both aren't complete rookies and have some common sense. Let's see how they ambush me now...'

Vera looked around for Chi. He was not downwing of her but she knew Thorn couldn't smell him. Vera wanted to get as close as she could get to Thorn without being detected. She was under a dead tree and crawled under it and came up behind a rock. Vera kept creaping silently twards Thorn.

Chi saw Vera creeping in slowly towards Thorn and since she was taking the low road he was gonna take the high so he silently ran up one of the rocks and launched off the rock at Thorn hopefully diverting her attention to him and away from Vera so she could go in for the attack.

Vera saw Chi jumping off the rocks. Boy did that pup have guts! Vera waited for him to get Thorn's attention. Deep inside her she knew the two of them would make a good team.

Thorn glanced to her side as Chi leapt towards her. He had been very good at being undetected, though because he was only young he couldn't afford to be rash like that. An assassins target isn't just any random wolf, and a head on attack could cost your life. Even if it is a diversion like this one. The first thing that Thorn would teach Chi would be the best areas to target when attacking and what angles to attack from.
She turned as he leapt at her so that he only bit down on her back, a fairly tough area where there couldn't do much damage. Now she glanced around waiting for Vera, since he seemed to be the diversion she wouldn't concentrate on him. She withstand his bite on her long enough.

Shoji wagged his tail a little, as he saw Chi jump off the rock. "Whoa. Look at him fly." Night snickered at Shoji. "He's pretty good. Not perfect, but good." Shoji couldn't take his eyes off Thorn, Vera and Chi. "Still not as good as me..right?" Night padded away. "Right?!" Night spoke calmly. "Good luck Thorn...you're gonna need it with those three." Shoji sighed. He was becoming..impatient with Night. Everytime he asked that question he got no answer.
