Thorns Training [Any new assassins]

It was early morning, about 2 o clock and the pale light of dawn crept over the horizon. A raven coloured wolf, black fur tinted blue, padded out of her den before leaping on top of it. Her vivid blue eyes peered out across Leoni territory. As the Rema of Leoni she was master of all the assassins in the pack and teacher to the newbies. Though she wasn't too fond of teaching, she believed that if you were to be an assassin you had to have natural skill for it or to be bred into it. Still, it was the alphas orders that she teach them anyway.

Thorn had been told by Sullivan that she needed to train the new head assassin. Apparently he had skill but he needed to work on it. Thorn lifted her head back and let out an eerie howl that sounded almost ghostly. It was the howl that the assassins had, different in tone and pitch so that wolves from other packs couldn't understand it. It was time to start training.

Night went to Shoji's Den, just incase he wasn't up yet. Shoji was up and ready. "Good. You're up. Now Thorn is training you, got it? She can be a bit..violent." Shoji nodded. "I'll be fine. Hopefully she's just ready to be violent enough for me." Shoji padded out of his den. Night smurked. "Wow. You seem a bit too confident, but confidence won't get you far." Shoji growled. "I just don't want to fail you..or Miss Sullivan." He looked foward. Night's ears perked up to a eerie howl. Shoji smurked. "C'mon."

Night and Shoji padded towards Thorn, who seemed ready to go. Night stood up straight and gave a nod to Thorn. "Thorn. Have him in one piece by the time your done. Please begin your training." Night padded towards his and Sullivan's den.

Shoji stood up to Thorn. He snarled a bit through his teeth. "Let us begin."

Thorn nodded to Night as he brought Shoji. She look Shoji over quickly, sizing him up. "I understand, Alpha Night." She sat as still as a rock now that she had turned to Shoji. 'Let us begin.' He said. A bit over confident wasn't he. He definitely would learn the hard way, she'd come at him with many different attacks and each one he reacted to in the wrong way he'd pay for it hard.

Thorn stared at him with her deep blue eyes for a moment, still remaining completely still like a statue. Then she leapt down at him in a flash, no warning, nothing. Purposely missing his nose by centimeters. Silently she landed infront of him before she circled him slowly. "So, Shoji." She said, her voice sly and coy. "You're the new head assassin. We'll see what you've got before i start to teach you..."

Shoji nodded, as Night left. Shoji just stared at Thorn. 'This chick, is like a book. You don't know what she's going to do next. I've got to keep my cool, and keep an eye on this one.' Shoji stood completely still, as she landed not too far away from him. He stared at her, as she circled him. 'Just remember what Night taught me..'

Shoji quickly jumped backwards. He looked at his surroundings. Then he looked below him. He began to move around swiftly and dig holes everywhere. He was clever so he definately had a plan.

Thorn watched as he begun to dig holes everywhere. No matter how quick he was it would take a fair amount of time to dig holes of any significant depth. However, she could use them to her advantage anyway. "Only runts should play in the dirt..." She said as he watched, she didn't move as all he was doing at the moment was digging holes.

Shoji growled at Thorn. "Yeah, but this 'runt' or so you speak is much more clever than the fool in his precence." Shoji then stopped digging holes. "That should do it." Around Shoji and Thorn were holes. "Alright then. Make your move."

Thorn chuckled a little before getting up. "We'll see. Unlink you, i wasn't appointed Rema because i i'm on good terms with the alphas. I earned my title, rookie." She padded over to him calmly with a sigh. "You're going about this the wrong way. You see, as an assassin you're element is to be silent, unreadable and unavoidable. Assassins are rarely seen until the very last moments when you die." She continued to pas calmly over while talking. "You're not an assassin if you make yourself known and ask others to attack you. Our aim is to take others down swiftly and before they even have chance to take a last breath."

Shoji frowned. "I know, but this is training. I'm going against you for TRAINING not to kill you." He growled. "If I were really trying..I could kill in 3 to 5 seconds. Don't you have some kind of prisioner wolf I can use?" Shoji tilted his head.

Thorn laughed a little. "Training is about pushing yourself so that you get stronger..." Thorn circled Shoji, padding quite close to him and waving her tail around like a cat, curling it and uncurling it. She spoke in a coy and slightly husky voice. She brushed the tip of her tail under his chin as she walked infront of him. "You wouldn't be able to kill me anyway dear..." In an instant she changed, pushing him over and pinning him down with a slight smirk. "The first rule is not to forget when you're confronting someone. Words make you forget what you were doing initially and make you open to an attack." She narrowed her eyes a little. "Now, how would you get out of this?.."

Shoji listened to Thorn, almost spacing out. Then as Thorn jumped foward, pinning him. He stayed calm and stared at her. "Hmph. A simple pin down? Easy." Shoji opened his jaws and quickly bit Thorn's neck. The taste of flesh gave him pleasure. "Hehehaha!" He smirked, biting harder into her neck. Then he jerked his neck a little and threw her off of him. "Heheh...Finally...the taste of flesh.." He quickly ran towards where he threw her and put his paw on her neck, pressing down.

Night watched from a distance. He growled, as Shoji went mad and pinned Thorn. He quickly ran towards the two of them. He then kicked Shoji off of Thorn and pinned his back. "Training is over."

Thorn stood completely calm as he bit down into her neck. She was pushed to aside and pinned. She smirked. "Very good." She found Night dragging Shoji off her and she stood up confused. "Alpha Night?" 'Training over? but they'd only just started.' She shook her fur and only a little blood came off as the bite hadn't been that deep at all. Years of fighting had toughened her hide.

Dawn was passing by when she saw Night, Thorn and Shoji. Thorn had a small wound on her neck and Night was pinning down Shoji. Dawn loped over, her purple eyes narrowed at Shoji as she still didn't accept him as the head assassin. "Alpha Night." She addressed him first and dipped her head to him before turning to Thorn. "What happened to your neck?.."

Shoji growled. "What? What's wrong?" Shoji didn't move, with his face pressed to the ground.

Night looked at Thorn and Dawn. "I did not studder. Training over. All of you. To your dens. Now!" Night growled, still pinning Shoji. Shoji was confused. Night let Shoji up. "What did I do?" Night looked down. "I just..look Shoji..you can train as much as you want, but I know you're a true killer. I just didn't want to loosen another pack member.."

Thorn growled a little before stalking off. The alpha was stopping her do her job, he had little faith in her at all. Dawn turned to follow Thorn but as she did so Thorn swung round and clawed Dawns cheek. Dawn took a step back, even though she and Dusk were cousins to Thorn the two weren't that close to her. Dawn rubbed the trickle of blood from her cheek from the three claw marks before turning to the alpha. She dipped head before going to her den.

Sullivan passed Thorn while looking for Night and seeing the traces of anger in her eyes padded up to Night. "Night. What happened, i rarely see Thorn so angry." Sullivans eyes narrowed a little, seeing Night pinning Shoji. Thorn had never failed Sullivan so she wondered what had gotten her worked up.

Night growled, as Thorn, Dusk and Dawn walked off to their dens. Night growled at Shojj. "You too. Be gone!" Shoji followed after Thorn, Dusk and Dawn. "Yes Master Night." He padded into his den. Night looked over at Sullivan. "It wasn't Thorn..it was Shoji. Something felt wrong, when he was pinning Thorn..I didn't want Shoji to kill Thorn so easily.." He looked away. "It just..didn't feel right.."

Sullivan growled a little. "So that's why Thorn was so pissed. It's because you think she is weak. As Rema she is the most skilled of all the assassins in the pack and has earned it. You never gave her chance to do her job..."
