Doby had a joint in his mouth. He was padding from Sorrid City. He wanted to get away from wolves that wanted to smoke with him, because they would make him, puff, puff, pass. Doby chuckled. He blew some smoke and put the joint back in his mouth. Then he leaned against a tree. You could see the smoke in the night. His ex-mate, Ashley, had left him for a gang. "Dumb bitch, don't know what she gave away." Doby's eyes were lazy looking or in other words..he was high. "HOLY SHIT! A TREE!" He would go on about shit, when high. It was kinda funny.

A girl with black hair walked down the street, hands in the pocket of her short leather jacket. As she walked into the light of a street lamp you could see her bangs were choppy and were black and orange striped. Her hair long in length with short layer, of which were lightly teased and her longer layers had a few braides. Her eyes a silver in colour with an orange ring aroung the iris and her eyelashes thick and black, creating a deep shadow around her eyes. She wore a black tshirt and boots with bright red shorts and tights with red lace up the back. Her slightly gothic, punk appearance reflected her personality and life quite well. Though she was indeed a wolf.

The scent of another wolf had caught her attention but as she saw him from a distance smoking a joint her interest diminished. Wolves that gave in to human indulgences were hardly wolves at all. She passed him by without a glance or ounce of attention.

Doby watched another she-wolf pass by him. He looked down, puffing his joint again. Apparently she didn't want to talk to him. "Hey, uh, baby! Wait, wait, wait." He ran over to her, joint still in his mouth. "You want to hit it with me, babe?" He put it in her face. He smiled curiously.

As he called after her something seemed to snap in her mind. She stopped as he put the joint in her face. She stepped a little closer to him, grinning devilishly but not saying anything. By his face she could tell he was a little younger than her, maybe a year or so. Poor kid smoking also. With one hand she lightly stroked his cheek, the other hand she used to put the joint out with her fingers, hearing it sizzle and die she stepped away from him. Gave him a look as if to say 'don't bother asking again' before continuing to walk.

Doby smurked wistfully as she stroked his cheek, not noticing anything but her. Then as she stepped away from him, he noticed his joint was out. "Hey! I payed 5 bucks for this nit bag!" He dropped the joint. Then he put his hands in his pockets and padded beside her. "So, babe, what you don't get high or what?" He looked at her with his one eye he was able to see out of. The other one was covered by his white and red bangs.

As she walked off she heard him complaining about how much he'd paid for that joint. As he caught up again she turned her face away, rolling her eyes. She looked out of the corner of her eye at him as she glanced back over. "Does it look like i do? If i did i'd probably have offered you one rather than putting it out..." What was with him calling her babe? It's probably just because he was high or hard headed.

Doby looked over. "Geez, babe, just asking." He narrowed his eyes, annoyingly. *If he had she had a joint? Tch! To stuck up to even buy one, rather than smoke one.* Doby put his arms up behind his head. He yawned. "I'm Doby, whats your name?"

She narrowed her eyes a little, she could guess what he was thinking. "Hallow." She replied, her voice had a husky tone to it. A long time ago during the fire that killed her parents she had inhaled hot air and it had burnt her throat and damaged her vocal chords a little but not too much. This wolf that was high couldn't intimidate her so she was pretty calm.

He nodded a little. "Hallow, nice name." He rubbed the back of his head. "So, uh..heh..your single right?" He smurked devilishly. *COME ON! GIVE ME THE JUICY DETAILS!*

Hallow glanced at him again. "Yours too." She raised an eyebrow at his question. "Yeah. Your point is?" She continued walking with her hands in her pockets.

Doby smiled at her answer, but inside didn't have a answer for her question. "Uhhhh..my point? Um, I'm just curious thats all." He looked down. "Heheh. So where are ya headed?"

Hallow shook her head a little. "Nowhere really. How's a wolf like you manage to get into smoking? It's not a normal thing for us to do y'know." She had to ask, otherwise it'll bother her for the rest of the night. As she spoke you could see fangs a little like vampires in her jaws. Her canines were visible even in human form.

Doby nodded. "Oh." Then he stopped walking. "Um..well it's just what my parents left me I guess. They knew alot of drug dealers. So they left me in a town full of em. So I tried it when I saw humans doing it. I thought I could fit in more. Yeah, I've been arrested for it, but only for acouple days." Doby turned towards the city. "Um, I'm gonna head back. Return this green I bought. It's soiled now and not the right kind that gets me fucked up."

Hallow could tell he wasn't getting his high from it anymore. "Y'know. Just taking that stuff won't keep you satisfied long, you'll try stronger stuff. It'll become your undoing..." She watched as he turned back turning herself and walking backwards. "But, whatever lights your candle go for it..." She turned back around. She wasn't the sort of wolf to use the normal cliches like 'whatever floats your boat' or 'whatever makes you tick'. She was a bit odd afterall.

Doby looked back at her. Then he heard a noise. He sniffed. Then he dropped the bag of green. He stared at a light. He just froze there. Then the light was coming closer. He still stood there. "Run.." He stared at the light, now coming closer. "R-Run!" He pushed Hallow down a mountain. He ran with her, but got caught in a trap cage. He went into his wolf form. "What?! Damn! No, no." He tried to break loose, but it didn't work. Two men got out of a car and put Doby on their truck. "Hey! I'm human! See?!" Doby went into human form. The men laughed. -Not the way we just saw you- "COME ON! Let me out of here! I got weed to return!" They drove off.
