a large rock, hollowed out by water, served as a perfect nursery. the mewling of shiski's three new pups echoed out the entrance, where summit stood. ashly was watching her pups play, and all were waiting for ghost to return with food.

OCC: Only RP as Summit and Shiski, not Ashley as well. =D No biggy just sayin. XD
Ashley watched her pups play. Akkina bit Dachio's ear. "Akkina, be careful." Akkina nodded. Ashley smiled at Summit and Shiski. "Congrats on the pups." Akkina sniffed the new pups. "Wow."

Ghost came into the cave with a couple of rabbits "heres food" he said softly. He just dropped it down on the floor in front of the wolves.

"incoming" cried Shiski, as three furry pups stampeaded out of the darkness, mowing down their father.
"im going to be alpha when i grow up" howled the gray one
"no, the other pups will be the alphas, and i'll be the lead hunter!" boasted the tan one.
"well, i'm going to kick you guy's butts" yowled the black one, pouncing on the other two.
"quiet down" barked summit. the pups ignored him.
"SHUT UP!" roared Shiski. the pups went silent. "now lets eat the rabbits ghost has brought back for us in a QUIET DISEPLINED MANNER!"

Ashley watched the pups talk about the future. Akkina smiled. "I'm being a alpha too of Hokiro pack..Right mom?" Ashley smirked. "You will be a vice alpha, Akkina, which means if Dachio- well never mind. Dachio is the oldest so he will be alpha first." Akkina blinked. "Thats alot to take in, honey, but you'll understand." Akkina looked down. Then she padded out of the cave and looked at her dad. "Oh dad can we hunt now?"

Ghost yawned and stretched "sure Akkina let's see what you can catch" he said as he got up. Dachio couldn't believe what he was hearing "Im...going to be......head alpha?" he said a little in shock. He was partly excited but also a bit discouraged and sad. "How can I be alpha one day when dad's still alpha mom?" he asked with eyes full of question.

Akkina wagged her tail and ran out of the cave. "Well?! Come on!" Ashley looked at Dachio. "Well..uh..when we don't want to be alphas anymore..we..uh retire? Yeah retire. So you can be alpha." Ashley smiled and licked Dachio.
Akkina sniffed with her head down and butt up. She sniffed into a log and a porkipine. "Ahh..He's mine!" Akkina got low, not making a sound. Then she pounced on the porkipine. "OWWWWW!" She yelped. She had quils on her paws. She limped to her dad, crying. "I-It hurts."

Summit watched from a distance. "i discoverd porcupines in the same exact way." he murrmured to shiski.

Ghost couldn't help laughing at Akkina "well this isn't the kind of prey you want" he said pulling spike out from her. He smiled at her well you can catch a mouse or a small rabbit Akkina. He laughed and patted her on the head.

Akkina growled. "No dad, I'm getting bigger y'know. I don't need you hassling me!" Akkina padded away, sniffing. *Good prey? A deer. Yeah.* Akkina kept sniffing. Ashley padded up to Ghost. "She is getting bigger."

Ghost nodded "yeah I know but she's getting sassy" he answered. He looked at Ashley "wish she could stay a lil girl forever or just a little longer" he said looking back.

Akkina sniffed. "Aha! My prey." A baby deer stood infront of her. She quickly ran after it and pounced it, biting it. The deer fell to the ground. Ashley nodded. "Yes, but she isn't always gonna be like that."

summit spotted a rabbit and raced after it, his great speed getting him a kill in less than a second. shiski's pup's little voices grew higher as they began to argue.
" no im as fast as daddy! not you!" barked the little tan cody
"well, im as strong as mommy!" growled stormcloud
"I can catch lightining with my bare paws!" howled misha shiski wrapped her paws over her ears. "go put your endless energy to good use please!" she barked. " go hunt for mice or something. anything but arguing! please!"

OCC: It's been two weeks Ghost. =D Akkina and Dachio are 1 year olds. Akkina dragged her prey. "Mrphh..Come on!" She fell back. Then she watched the pups run and play. "Ughh.." She smurked and ran after Cody. She picked him up and threw him on her back. "Hold on tight!" She ran really fast. Ashley yelped. "Akkina! Be careful! The edge!!" Akkina looked back. "Wha?" Then she looked foward. She pulled over and grabbed Cody before he flew off her back. She stared at the edge. It was quiet.  |
