Slash's green eyes adjusted to the gathering darkness and she spotted the group of wolves leaving the city. They looked mean. Claw was right. Things do get iffy out here at night. she knew how vulnerable they were, and felt bad at putting Claw in so much danger. Those wolves better watch themselves..... she thought. Well, it's more of the other way around...they have the unknown upper hand. she looked around a few more times. "ok. I'll be your eyes." that sounded so weird. "just keep moving...they're looking away...." she heard him muttering to himself about running into Occo again and stiffened a bit. huh? He's run into Occo before? Well.....he did know his name, even though he wouldn't tell me why....." she spotted the building he was aiming for. "keep going." I will inquire about him and Occo once we're inside and safe.

Claw was feeling quite confident that they were going to make it safely. "Well at least it wasn't too many wolves out here" he whispered to her. He finally made it past them and continued on towards the building. Claw looked around before continuing forward. "So what's your problem with Occo besides the whole massacre I saw back there with you and your family?" he asked sensing she wanted to know more about his encounter with Occo. He hated bringing up that encounter but knew it was important to get it out the way now. He busted through the abandoned building's doors. He hoped up onto the staircase and continued to the top. "We're almost there so you can rest when we make it to the top" he said softly. He listened to the echoing of his steps, he made it to the top and tackeled the door to break it down. "Well here we are" he said padding around the top of the building and looking off the edge. It was a little more windy up here and he enjoyed the view. He put Slash down onto a comfortable spot he then padded away and stared off into the beautiful skyline.

Slash was relieved to be in the safety of the building. She let Claw put her down before she answered his question. "Occo wanted information about a wolf named Nygone." she started. "See, my family was a great friend of Nygone's family and knew much about them." she felt the sadness coming back. "Nygone's family was killed by Occo a week or so after I was born, I think." she squinted, grasping the memory. "Yes, that's it. I never met her or her siblings, only the stories my parents told." she dropped her head to her paws in a mournful short of way. "Occo had begun to suspect than another wolf besides Nygone had gotten away, a brother. I can't remember his name, but my parents knew the truth. Occo wanted it, and he got it." she looked bitterly at her paws. "He even said that he wouldn't harm them further after they gave him the information, but he killed them anyways."

Claw looked a little disturbed at the information she was presenting to him. He was even more shocked to hear that Slash knew about Nygone, but the part about stories made him curious just a little. "Well.....Im sorry" he said turning to sit next to her. He took in a deep breath he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. "I wish this never happened, you see Nygone is my sister and I know how it is to run into Occo" he said avoiding looking at her. "We fought him off a couple times and came close to killing him once" he said softly. He frowned at the memories of the battle "we stared death in the eye....or whatever was left of it" he said grimly. "Im sorry its my fault your family is dead and you lost your memory" he said tensing up expecting her to attack him. He had to tell her he couldn't leave anything a secret because now she was involved in the never ending fight to kill the demon wolf.

Slash's he shot up. "Nygone is you sister? That's who Occo was looking for information about." She suddenly felt angry at him. but, its not his fault! She shook away reality. "He must have attacked you two overnight or something. You must have been together and he must have told you." She growled slightly. "Did he kill Nygone?" Her eyes flared angrilly. She felt all the turmoil coming back. "So he's still alive then?" she bared her teeth. "I'll kill him!" she lepat up to her paws, but her broken leg collapsed benieth her and she fell over to one side. "Owowowwwwwwwwww!" she yelped, as pain flared up her leg. She gingerly moved it to a safer position, gritting her teeth. "Owowoww..."Her yelps subsided and she bitterly curled up on the floor. "Curse this leg. Curse Occo! Curse that demon wolf!" she put her head down on her paws. "Leave me. I'm tired."

Claw frowned at her he could tell she was really angry "no Nygone is still alive and you need to rest Im the one who's going to kill him no need to worry yourself" he said softly. He padded away slightly as she told him leave her alone. He looked away and left from the building. He wasn't sure where to go but he knew he should get some supplies for her leg. He turned into his human form and walked around for awhile before he found a pharmacy. He threw the necklace at the cashier "I need some things for a broken leg" he demanded. The cashier gathered a couple pills and other supplies in a bag. He then insepcted the necklace carefully and nodded and handed over the things. He turned back into his wolf form and rushed back to Slash. He hoped she dozed off by the time he got back to he can work on her leg as soon as possible he wanted to suprise her.

so Nygone's still alive, eh? That female must be one tough cookie if she's not dead. Slash arranged herself in a more comfortable position, trying to ignore that throbbing in her leg that had started up. That was a stupid thing to do, jumping up like that with a broken leg. she sighed dejectedly, swishing her tail along the ground. I hate being incapitated. Now Claw's gonna go kill Occo by himself and i won't get revenge. she watched a bug crawl across the dusty floor on an unknown journy to his home and family. Waves of tiredness began to wash over her and she felt her eyelids begin to droop. With a big yawn, she set her head on her paws and closed her eyes. The posisiton she was in wasn't very comfortable, for she had to keep her broken leg stretched out behind her and couldn't curl up into a furry ball. oh well.

(we should bring another wolf into this.)

It seemed as if the fate had been pushing her to the ground. She managed to stay up long enough to rest in the plains. She had gotten bigger over the months of being pregnant. She never thought she would ever be a mother. Then I guess one day it hit her. Arumi, a mom. It would make the city gangs laugh at her. Arumi almost limped into the plains. She took in a breath. It had been awhile since she stepped foot here. She used to be so immune to the plains. Now she rarely got out to see them. Arumi's ears perked up. She noticed someting laying in the plains. At first, it looked to be dead. Then it moved.

"What could that be? A wolf? Yes. It is."

Arumi slowly waddled to the female wolf on the ground. She looked at her with curious eyes. Her leg looks bad. Has anyone even found her yet? I could help..but the city is such a long walk..I'm too pregnant to walk there..and this wolf is too wounded. Arumi had no clue on what to do. She gently touched the wolf with her snout and spoke softly. Hopefully the wolf didn't get frightened or anything.

"Hey. Are you alright? I saw you back there and..just say that you are okay."

Arumi wanted a postitive answer, being it is that she couldn't help this wolf. She waited for an answer.

Slash was dozing off into sleep when a snout poked her. Her ears shot up, followed by her head. She narrowly avoided flocking the other wolf with her skull. Resisting the instinctive urge to jump to her paws, which would no doubt injure her broken leg even more, she turned to face the wolf, teeth slightly bared. It's not Claw, it's not Occo, it's a female, and I think she just asked me if I was alright. her brain sluggeshly woke up. "Who are you?" her green eyes sparkled nervously. "Did Occo send you? Are you going to kill me?" she then noticed that the she-wolf was pregnant. Shut up, you dumbass! A pregnant wolf isn't going to attack you. she forced herself to calm down. But what if this is a trap? she eased herself up onto her front paws in a sitting position, keeping the weight off her broken leg. hmph. Stupid idea to sit right in the doorway, where everyone can see you.

Claw came to a halt as he saw someone else with Slash he quickly darted to a safe hiding spot that was well hidden, he carefully watched the two talk. He noticed it was a pregnant female, he was feeling quite shy so he decided to stay hidden until he decided to come out.

A black shadow emerged from behind Arumi "why are you all the way out here?" he said with a slight growl. His yellow eyes shifted to the other female "who are you?" he asked slightly calmer. He looked at her leg and noticed it was in a sort of broken state. His eyes looked at Arumi "we can't help her" he whispered to her. He knew Arumi would want to try and help almost any wolf, but neither of them had the ability to.

Arumi had all these unknown things thrown at her. When the female awoke, she spoke of a Occo and killing. Arumi gave a blank stare. What was this female talking about? Arumi could she why she was out here, the female was a complete crazy wolf. Maybe she was ditched out here for illusions. Arumi kept her trap shut. Then she looked at the female with gentle eyes. She would just say her name, but there was more to be said. She spoke in a soft voice.

"Please. Calm down. My name is Arumi-"

A familiar voice interrupted hers. It was her mate, Bone. Arumi gave a smile and then looked at Bone with happiness in her eyes. She knew that Bone probably got worried. That was all. When Bone whispered in Arumi's ear, she gave a sigh and then looked at the female with sad eyes. She knew that nothing could be done, but she had to atleast try. Then a scent came to her nose. She looked around. Another male was here. She looked at Bone.

"Yes. We can't, but maybe someone else here is already helping her. Exscuse me miss. Is someone already helping you? You looked to be in a comfortable state when I got here."

Arumi looked around for where ever the other wolf was. Then she winced a bit. It was just a kick in her stomache.

Slash bared her teeth in the start of a growl, bu she then realized that the black male was with the female and neither of them meant her any harm. Or at least I don't think they do. she shifted her leg slightly to ease it into a more comfortable position. A breeze blew through the door, bringing Claw's scent to her. She immediately felt less in danger knowing he was nearby. Her attention snapped back to the she-wolf, who was speaking her name. So her name is Arumi. I doubt Occo has affiliation with her. I think I'm safe for now. "Yes, someone else is helping me." she spoke clearly but not loudly. "He should be back soon." He better be. tiredness came over her again, and she sank back down to the floor. I lost waaaay to much blood to be being this active so soon.

Claw slowly poked out from his hiding spot. He was shy about these two wolves then he noticed it was Bone and Arumi. He reluctantly came out into full view and looked at the two. "Good to see you two again, I see your doing well" he said nodding to the duo before padding over to Slash. He dropped the bag beside her "You better rest up" he said softly to her. He covered up what was in the bag so he could surprise her when she woke up. He looked at Arumi "you guys can stay with us, to keep us company Im a little busy helping her and I don't think Im in the shape to be able to defend myself" he said with a tired voice. He could feel his muscles aching and his eyes wanting to droop into a close. He sighed and waited for her to fall asleep.

Bone shrugged and sighed he had hoped someone was helping her. He was surprised to see Claw again "well its been awhile since you and your companions been through here, I can see what brought you back" he said looking at Slash. He gave Claw slight nod as he asked his mate to spend the night with them. He could tell he was exhausted and if he happen to find some nasty wolves he would surely lose.

Slash looked at Claw and then at the other two wolves. "So you know these two?" she said." I guess if you trust them, I can trust them." she made sure she was fully out of sight through the open door, knowing that next time a wolf saw her she might not be as lucky. City wolves were mean creatures and would certainly be trouble, especially with Claw in such a tired state. She noticed the bag. "Hey, Claw, what's in the bag?" she had curled up now, ready for more well-needed sleep. "Oh, never mind. I'm too tired. Just tell me when I wake up." Hopefully with my strength and energy back. she yawned, closing her green eyes and plopping her head down onto her paws. The night was still young, so she had plenty of time to rest her tired body. She hoped Claw could get some well-needed and earned rest as well. Moments later, she drifted off into sleep.
