An Important Talk (Bone/Open)

The sky was a bit gray with shades of deep blue. Only a few stars showed themselves, others hid behind the gray clouds. It had already rained and the storm was heading in another direction. The streets had little puddles that showed the reflection of the moon in them. The buildings were a bit wet, but not too bad.

Arumi had waited for this talk for awhile. She was a bit afraid to have it, but not too afraid. She knew there would be a time in every wolf's life when they would have offspring. This was her and Bone's time. She hopped onto a building and sat down, waiting for Bone to meet her there. She stared at the moon. She couldn't wait to have pups, talking about them was the hard part.

Bone emerged from the shadowy depths of the city, he hopped onto the building where Arumi sat. He looked at her and looked to the night skyline. "Beautiful isn't?" was all he could force himself to say. His eyes turned back to Arumi once again and only said "I love you" he whispered softly.

Arumi smiled as Bone sat beside her. She watched the skyline with him and scooted closer. Then her ears poked up. She smirked and looked at him. "I love you too.." She watched the sky. "Yes..it is beautiful.." She answered late. Then she layed her head on Bone's chest. "So...." She blurted out. She didn't know how to start the conversation. It was kinda new for her and awkward.

Bone saw that it bothered her so he quickly said it "yes..." he said softly. "Yes we can have pups, but there's one exception" he said looking away. "I want you to go the packs and raise them....we cant raise our children here" he said. "I have to stay, you go" he said sadly.

Arumi quickly sat up and backed away from Bone. "No. I won't do that to you. Leave you here.." She growled a bit. "I would rather not have pups then raise them in a pack." She looked at Bone. Then she calmed down. She wanted pups, but to leave Bone? It would be hard to. She sighed. "Okay..fine I will do it.." She looked down. "..but you have to watch them from here..if they go into trouble..and I'm not around.." She had never expected to be so sincere with Bone, but pups were serious buisness.

He touched her softly "its ok, and dont worry they wont get in trouble with me all i have to do is give them a good stare and they'll listen" he said jokingly. He smiled "you can always come and visit me when you want but they are going to be raised by the pack not the city" he said laying on his back then.

Arumi looked away. "Right.." She then layed down on her back as well. She had alot on her mind. She had remembered something important. She couldn't say anything about it to Bone. It would break his heart. She just stared at the sky. "I know they will be good pups. I have a good name for a girl.." She said, trying to get her mind off of what was bothering her. "I was thinking..Niomi."

Bone nodded "sounds like a good name" he said uncomfortably. He felt like he should go with Arumi and raise the pups, but he had his stuff to do here. He sighed "Arumi....you know maybe I will raise the pups with you out the city" he said just staring off then looking at her. He noticed something was on her mind "hey what's on your mind, and dont say nothing because I can tell your thinking about something.....bad" he said with eyes on her.

Arumi smiled a bit. She liked the idea of Bone coming with her. She sighed. Then she looked at Bone. She couldn't tell him. She had to cover up what was really making her uncomfortable. She sat up a bit. "Well..I am just nervous about having pups. That's all." She looked at the sky, smiling. "I wonder if they will like me..Arumi as a mother.." She looked liked the sound of that. Though Arumi the loner sounded better. She hoped that changed the subject. Then she layed back down. "Just think..pretty soon me and you will be parents. Two rough hounded parents." She chuckled a bit. Then she rose up. "Actually..Bone..something is on my mind.."

He gave a slight grin "well....' he said softly. He just sat up "it wont be all too bad and they will love you" he said giving her a slight nuzzle. He looked up and gave her a puzzled look "what's on your mind then?" he asked looking up at the sky.

Arumi didn't know how to tell him. "Let me start from the beggining..when I was walking in this city I met this wolf named Hokish. He told me that he would hurt the ones I love if I didn't give him something.." She sighed. "He said he wanted my organs..it sounds scary, but he was being serious..I don't know if it is just one of those creeps or what..anyway..he told me to close my eyes and he would take them from me..I would have usually fought back but I didn't for some reason. This was before I met you and the others, so If I had fought back, I would have lost.." She coughed. "So I didn't fight back and well I don't remember much, but I woke up covered in blood..it was weird. A really weird day for me." She looked at Bone. "Pointis I am afraid that I might die while giving birth..or worst, die after the pups are born..that would leave you with them and I don't want to do that.."

Bone was speechless words couldnt describe how he felt he just looked at her "Arumi....I love you with all my heart, but I cant tell you the future you can just do what you want and I'll always be by your side" he said softly. He took his time to breath slowly .

Arumi couldn't say much back. "Thank you Bone..really." She smiled and layed next to him. "What do you think they will look like?" She wondered if they would take Bone's looks or hers..or both. She coughed a bit and then again. "I wish to start a new life in this city Bone.." She looked down at her chhest. "We basically own this city and it will be like a pack almost.."

Bone smiled softly "well, just have to keep an eye on them around here, cause if they'r anything like their mother then they'll get into alot of trouble" he smirked. "You know its not going to be easy, but we'll make it" he said scooting closer to Arumi.
