Alpha in Training (Open to Leoni members/Open)

Shadino woke up early, knowing what day it was. Time to find a new trainer for himself. He got up with out any trouble. He padded out of his father's den and looked at the sun rise. Then his father's voice emerged from the den. "Today you will need to be ready. Only the harshest teacher will pick you to be their puple." Shadino nodded. 'Of course. I will be ready.' Night then gave a howl, calling his pack to the den. Shadino stared down steadily, waiting for the pack to show up.

Only, he had no idea why anyone would. To train Shadino would be hard work.

[Kei]

Chi heard Nights call and quickly left his den to answer. He hurried over with the others not sure what was up but he hurried to the alphas den. He bowed his head to alpha Night and Shadino when he approached the den and took a spot off to the side as he waited for others of the pack to arrive.

Night looked at Chi and smiled. He had already knew that Chi would come. That would probably be his choice to train Shadino. He smiled a bit. Then he looked at Shadino. He looked at Chi and gave him a signal to come to him. "Chi I need you to train Shadino. If you suceed then you will be promoted to a higher rank."

Shadino looked at Chi and then looked at his father.

[Leopard]

Eve padded out of her den with a small yawn, hearing Alpha Night's strong howl. She padded over, not hearing the conversation and sat down.

Night looked at Eve who also showed up. "Hm. Well. Eve. Aha. I had a idea." He looked at Chi and Eve. "You two will have a competition. To see who gets promoted to a higher rank and who get's to train Shadino. To prepare him for future alpha duties. Train him to fight." He looked at them both and then spoke with demand. "Now..whoever does not want a higher position then speak now.."

[Leopard]

Eve looked a bit suprised, but dipped her head at the offer. "Thank you, Alpha Night. Although, I cannot achive a higher position." Her eyes sparkled and she gave a little smile to Shadino, glad to have the oppertunity to train him.

Night looked at Eve. "Well..we will find something else you would want." He looked at Chi and Shadino. "Well? Chi?"

[Kei]

Chi bows gracefully to Alpha night" If a competition is your will, Then i will do it to the best of my abilities. " He blushed softly " But i fear to say that others of the pack say i am not ruthless enough. But i can train Shadino in the arts and duties without pushing my personality on him I assure you. Eve would be a more worthy teacher. " he stated open and honestly.

Night looked at Chi. "Well, ruthlessness isn't always a way to be. I need him to be alpha material.." He smirked a bit. "I got it. Chi you will train Shadino to be alpha. Eve you will train Shadino, fighting wise. Then you will both be rewarded." He looked at Shadino. "Then, it will start tommorow." He turned into the den to leave them to talk.

Shadino just sat up and stared at Eve and Chi. 'Ahem..' He cleared his throat. Then he sat stood up straight.

[Kei]

Chi looked over at Shadino as he cleared his throat. " Looks like training starts tommorow, Shadino. Is there anything you have questions about any skills that you wish to work on?" He asked softly. " He thought that Shadino had a say in his own training after all a wise leader would be one that lead but also one who could listen to his followers and choose the best course of action. Leading also consisted of using your natural abilities and making them stronger not necessarily with brute force but with cunning and intelligence.

[Leopard]

Eve nodded to Alpha Night, as she heard the two of them would be splitting Shadino's training. "A wise choice, should I say so myself." The navy blue wolf smirked and growled playfully after Night left Shadino. Looking over at Chi and giving him a wink, she quickly turned her gaze and attention back to Shadino.

Shadino looked at Chi and Eve. He looked down st the ground. Then he padded down next to Eve and Chi. Then he smirked a bit. "Well..since you asked..I need to know how long it will take before I am fully trained?" He tilted his head a bit. "I mean will it take awhile? Years? Months?" He sighed a bit.

[Kei]

chi grinned wolfishly. " well my dear young heir, that all depends on you now doesn't it. How fast you absorb the knowledge and talents we teach and also how well you understand our teachings. I am confident that you will do well and quite quickly. One of the biggest things i believe in leading a pack is not how scary you are or how powerful you have become. It is knowing how the pack members work how their needs and desires work so you know what they will do and how they will act therefor you can always be one step ahead of them. Those who lead by hate alone will be consumed by it but those who lead by using all their skills and wits they will lead a very long time." He turned to Eve "do you have anything you wish to add? Being the beta female you have more authority and leadership qualities and experiences. I believe its best for him to hear all styles so he can pick what is best and most comfortable for him. after all we will just be setting his paws on the path. He will be the one to walk it in the end. "

[Leopard]

Eve nodded. "Well said, Chi." Her voice was cold, matching the air of the crisp night. He long pelt provided her with plenty of warmth. "And I think...." She paused, thinking about what she was going to say. She had already gone over this with him, and his father already didn't approve. Thinking wiser, she said, "why don't we take a walk? Get some fresh air, and maybe get something to eat while we discuss this."

Shadino nodded to Chi. "Okay...I understand." He looked at Chi and smirked a bit, looking like his father. Then he looked at Eve and nodded slowly. "A walk?" He looked back at the den and then shrugged. "A walk sounds good. Good for all of us. To take in all of this." He padded ahead and then he stopped. He looked back at Eve and Chi, seeing if they would come along after him.
