Ice jumped, awake, alarmed by the rumble. She peered outside her den to see dark clounds coming from the east. She looked around the den only to see Sun in it. She propped herself up and started washing.
Stone padded up to Svannah. "Ugh, I don't like storms."
Savannah stood up and sniffed in the air. "I can sence this one is going to be bad. We should probably hunt before the rains come in."
Water nodded. "I'll go gen Diamond." He padded off towards Diamond's den.

Summit howled. " let this hunt be quick!" he and Shiski led the hunters from camp.

Water pocked his head into Diamond's den where he founder still sleeping. "Diamond, wake up."
Diamond pricked her ears. She had been dozing when Water came in. "Hi." She opened her eyes and got up. The blue wolf stretched her legs and padded up to him. She looked around his shoulder and saw the grey sky.
Water turned to look at the sky where she was looking. "We have to go hunting before the storm comes." He lead her out if the den and close to his parents. He looked at Fire. "Can me and Diamond tag along with Summit?"
Fire looked at the pair. "Sure, as long as they aprove." Ice nodded as she walked out of the den. "Yes, don't just barg in."
The two nodded and ran to catch up. "hey, Summit. Can we join the hunt?" Water asked.

Summit: "sure, but keep up. we have to travel fast to outpace the storm."
Shiski: "Elk herd to left, fifty yards!"

Water nodded and fell into pace with Diamond behind Summit and Shiski. Diamond looked to her left, seeing the elk heard, her mouth watering.

Diamond and Water followed their orders. Water lifted his head and took in a deep breath. He could smell the mouth-watering meat!

Shiski: "Fifty animals, two bucks, eighteen yearlings, thirty hinds."
Summit: "Spread out!"
(Hinds are female elk)

Summit: "elk speed?"
Shiski:" trot and quickening!"
Summit:" accelerate to press-paw speed!" the elk could be seen clearly now.
