Vera heard the sisters scream for her. If they want me so badly they can find me them selves! Vera thought to herself as another contraction passed through he body. She couldn't hold back a yelp.

Vera heard Kya come closer. She knew she had to birth in the safeness of the small broken house. She ran out of her hiding place past the sisters and back into the room with no roof. She then lyed down and yowled. Three pups were born soon after.

Vera heard the sister outside. "No, I'm fine. If you want cone in. Just promise me no more talk about Zaheth. We had a very bad history." Vera started to lick the tree of her pups. She wished Scar were hear.

A little black she-pup wiggled blindly around, yipping for milk. She bumped into her mothers leg.

Vera's smallest pup (Tyra) bumped into her leg. She directed her to her teats and it started to nurse. The othe two jointlded in too. "please, come in. I need help naming them!" Vera smiled to let the tree know she was not kidding.

"Hmmm, well I guess. But I'm nameing the white one.... Lash! She looks just like my sister and my mother!" Vera looked at the three sisters. Then she thought about how Zaheth made her kill her mother. Now that she knew what he did, she wished she never did.

Lash felt her little sister bat her. Why is she hurting me?she thought. Lash made a little bounce and made her sister yelp. Ripfang heard his sisters fighting and wanted to join in. He pounced higher and landed on both of them. Vera looked at her pups and giggled. This would have been the best day of her life, only if Scar or Ice were here.
