Ghost looked at both of them "I'll be back soon" he said turning around running back towards the city.

She laughed. "Yeah..Night guys." She fell asleep.

The next morning Ashley still felt numb and hurt. She layed there.

Surami rose. "You okay there?" Ashley nodded. "Okay well I'm gonna go get some food. Ghost can keep you company?" Surami ran out of the cave,

Ghost padded back into the cave "how ya doing Ash" he said smiling. He layed down next to her "nice morning today isn't it" he smiled. He still had dried blood on his fur.

Ashley wasn't feeling well. She turned her head away from Ghost. "Good.." She rested her cheek on her paws. "Yes.." She couldn't believe her loosing that battle. She needed to train, to win the war. She rose and limped outside. "It's time I started training."

Surami padded back with some fish. "What happened?"

Ghost nudged her "no you need to rest and don't worry you'll win next time you have to accept defeat a couple times" he said nudging her softly. He licked her cheek "besides I almost lost you once and Im not going to lose you again" he said softly. He looked back at Surami "nothing happened just make sure Ashley gets her rest" he said smiling.

Ashley looked at Ghost. "Thats the thing Ghost. If I don't become stronger, the next time I will die. The leader will show no mercy next time." Ashley limped away from the cave, but fell.

Surami dropped the fish in the cave. "Oh.."

Ghost pulled her back into the cave "no rest is the best medicine for you" he said nudging her slightly. "Tell ya what I'll go down to the city and straighten things out" he said wanting her to stay and rest.

Ashley had to push herself to Ghost. "No! Don't, no, please stay here with me! Surami, can you go to spy on them? Just check out their location?" Ashley made a sad face. She looked back at Surami and jerked her head. "Right.."

Surami ran out of the cave. "I'll be back." Surami had their scent. He headed in a forest.

Ghost looked at Ashley "what's wrong you know he's being hunted like you and the gangs not really after me" he sat next to her. He had alot of thoughts going through his head but he knew Ashley wanted him to stay with her.

Ashley nodded. "Yes, I know. It's just Surami is now a hunter of the Hokiro Pack. He is hunting them for me and besides he has been spying on them before. It shouldn't be hard." Ashley had faith in Surami. She layed back down.

Surami watched the pack in the forest. He listened to them. "Ashley is injured and weak, now is the time to attack!" Surami gasped. "She will die this time!" The pack growled. Surami ran back to Ghost and Ashley.

Ghost nodded at Ashley "anyway while he's gone what should we do?" Ghost said laghing. He licked Ashley "don't know how long he'll be gone" he smiling.

Ashley smiled. "I don't know. What did you have in mind?" Ashley snuggled him. It was boring as it is.

Surami kept running.

Ghost smiled "depends on what you want" he smiled. His ears flickered back and forth. He swept his tail across the dirt slowly. He licked her forehead "hope it stays nice and peaceful here" he smiled looking into Ashley's eyes.

Ashley smiled. "Well what I want to do is-"

Surami busted in the cave. "We..need..to go!" He was breathing heavily. "Now, the gang is coming again to kill Ashley, now that she is injured!" Surami looked at them.

"What?" Ashley put her ears down.

Ghost looked back at Surmai "we need to find a safe place to hide" he said helping Ashley up. "We'll come back after a couple days" he said exiting the cave. "Surami help Ashley get outta here I'll catch up with you guys" he said padding towards the incoming gang.
