Fire, the new Warrior Squad Leader had just joined the Hokiro pack the day before. He had heard there was another female Warrior Squad Leader that he was eager to meet. He was looking for a mate to share his young life with.
It was dawn, and Fire was sniffing for this female wolf. He heard a yawn from a den near by. He hadn't been invited into a den by any other member last night. Soon he saw a beautiful white wolf emerge from the den that he heard the yawn come from. He caught the she-wolf's eye. She was the most beautiful wolf he had ever seen. Maybe this was the wolf he was looking for.
Before he could walk over to her she said, "so your the new Warrior Squad Leader I will be working with. My name is Ice."
Ice! Hat was strange he thought. Ice was the opposite of fire. "my name is Fire" he said proudly, but not too loud so he would wake the other wolves.

Summit walked back into the camp after a night hunt. he hadden't found anything, and was feeling unhappy. he saw Fire and Ice.

Fire and Ice stopped talking. They both looked at Summit. Ice called out to him but not too loud, "Unlucky hunt, Summit?"

"yup." Summit said. "all the rabbits were in their burrows." he spotted Fire. "whos' this?"

Fire walked up to the new wolf. He didn't know what positon he played in the pack so he bowed his respect anyway. "My name is Fire. I am the new Warrior Squad LEader with Ice. You must have been out hunting when Ashley accepted me." Fire looked at Ice to see f he had said the right thing. She nodded back.

"i guess." Summit said glumly. he walked into his den. from within his den came a long, angry bark. "WHATTA MEAN YOU DIDN'T CATCH ANYTHING?  !" |

Ice heard a female barking at Summit. She thought it was Shiski but wasn't 100% sure. "Would you keep it down in there some wolves are still sleeping!" Ice barked back. She looked at Fire who was were Summit had left him. His tail was down along with his head. She padded over to him and licked his cheack, "Don't feel bad, all hunters are upset when they don't catch anything. Why don't we try to catch something for the pack. You do know how to hunt, right?"
Fire nodded. "But won't that make Summit feel more depressed?" he wimpered. He didn't like to make other wolves unhappy with him. It had caused his father to abandon him. Fire thought again, this wou;d give him some alone time with the beautiful wolf. "Alright." he said.
Ice jumped. "Good. Now come with me." She lead him into the forest.

Melody: She awoke to barking. She was new here, so she wasn't sure about the bickering. She yawned still sleepy.

four furry bolts dashed out of Summit's den as a firey, small black wolf with fierce yellow eyes emerged from the den. "i ask you!" she barked. "not even a rabbit!"

Ice turned back to camp and heard noises come from the dens. She just kept running with Fire at her side.

Shiski's pups and mate scattered. Shiski returned to her den with a big huff. she growled and rolled her eyes.
Cody hid in a bush. Stormcloud grabbed Misha and ran off into the forest. Summit peered at the den with nervous eyes, whating Shiski disappear.

Ice stopped running when she thought this would be a good spot for hunting. She heald her tail up to tell Fire to stop too. "This should be a good spot to start. First I want you to show me how you hunt so we can make out a plan to hunt with." Ice wispered, careful not to scare away any prey.
Fire talked about the way he was tought to hunt and after about an hour they brought down an old doe. Fire and Ice both dragged it back to camp to feed their pack. Ice let Fire cary it into eye sight do the rest of the pack members would accept him.

Summit watched them return." where'd you find the elk?" he asked.

Fire drpped the elk at his paws and licked his lips from the blood of the pray. "We found it near the Leoni border, but still in the forest. It came from across the border. Did you cheak that area?" Fire asked, cocking his head.

no. i tend to avoid Leoni. they aren't to respectfull of borders and think attacking other wolves is fun." Summit replied.
