Keenan growled a bit at being ordered around but listened anyways for it would take everything the two of them had to take down this deer. He looked at Alkai and licked her muzzle. "I will be back with food." he then stepped to ash's side and waited.

"Ok, lets go.." he said, slowly padding to the deer, his body hidden in the grass.

Alkai she smiled when Keenan licked her muzzle. "Be careful, both of you." She said in a soft voice.

Keenan nodded and replied "We will" He then followed Ash at a slow crouched pace. hiding himself in the grass.

Ash then sniffed the air to make sure there werent any deer in hiding. he then nodded to Keenan, a sign to tell him it was clear. he then jumped out of the grass and leaped at the deer.

Keenan saw Ash nod his head and take off after the deer. Keenan ran after him and caught up to the deer. He made a leap for its throat and succeeded in biting into its soft neck tissue.

the deer felll quickly, and huffed fast. it was still alive but close to dieing. Ash took one final bite to the stomach of the deer, and the breathing stopped almost instantly. he ran back to the path - back to melody and alkai.
"Ok, we killed it, come on girls" he said, padding back to the deer.

Alkai walked behind Ash to where the dead animal was. When they reached the spot where Ash and Keenan killed the animal she went over to Keenan and licked his cheek.
Melody was right behind Alkai and Ash. She looked at the carcass then went over to Alkai. "Good job killing the deer, both of you." She said.

Keenan stood up after the deer was dead and waited for Ash to come back with Melody and Alkai. He then saw Alkai and she approached him and licked his cheek. "Thank you." He replied. "I hope you enjoy it."

Ash just sat in the grass and waited patiently.
"You guys go ahead, im not that hungry, not after that rabbit i had earlier" he said, laughing as he finished talking.

Alkai and Melody ripped a piece off of the deer and began to eat.

Keenan waited for Alkai and Melody to get their fill and then he dug in.

Ash just watched, and looked around at the sight. he saw elks nearby but did feel in the mood for that. he felt more like rabbits.

Keenan looked at Ash and saw that he was looking at the deer but did not look interested in them. He padded over to him and asked "You want to eat something?" He then smiled finally warming up to him.

Alkai looked over and saw Keenan walk up to Ash. She was full and satisfied. She layed down in the grass.
Melody layed beside Alkai, feeling full.
