A brown and white wolf approached a small pack of wolves. She looked at them and smelt only one sent on their borders. It was a male. She was curious if they had a female. So she entered the territory and marked her ground. Then she let out a long beautiful howl indicating that she was the strongest female.

Aremor heard the beautiful howl come from the female that spotted coming on the land. He waited a little before standing up from where he laid and went to greet her. Letting out a strong and powerful howl to let all of Gugi hear him as he moved across the land. The cool wind blowing through his fur. Finally he came face to face with a very beautiful wolfess who looked like she'd be a good mate for him and also a very fitting female to be alpha by his side. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" He asked gently.

Javo watched from a boulder, silloetted against the sky. she narrowed her eyes at this new female. "soooo....the new Alpha." she tipped her head back and howled to welcome the new wolf, but a spark of envy was growing inside her, that this new wolf got the highest posision in the pack and a mate almost immedietly, where she had been here far longer and knew the lay of the land.

Star heard the howl. She could sence that this wolf didn't like the fact that she got alpha. Star howled back.

Javo pricked her ears at the return howl. she lightly bounded up to the wolves. "i am Javo, Gugi gamma." she said.

Star looked at the wolf who had howled to her she didn't know what a gamma was. "I don't mean to be rude but what is a gamma?" she asked.

(OOC: I do apologize for making you both wait on me, I'm finally moved into my new house which is huge but anyways I have returned)
Aremor was suprised to see the both wolves were here now, they both could be meet but something was off. Star a newcomer was going to gain the rank of alpha female where as Javo was already here as gamma for a little while.
"Javo, I will explain the rank of gamma... Star, gamma is third in command so if both alphas and betas are not present, they can take the lead until one of the following higher ranked members become available. Gamma also includes the ability to bring new members into a pack and give them rank, however as alpha and...or beta these ranks can still choose to derank the member until further notice if necessary" Aremor's voice gently flowed with "Anyways, Star you came seeking rank as alpha and you shall have it. Come stand by my side and lift your head and let out a song with me to show you are indeed to be with me" He spoke again.
Finally he lifted his head and let out a powerful but gentle howl, today marked the day that another would take their place by his side.

Star didn't want to upset anybody. She only announced that she was the strongest female and she claimed the role of alpha female! She didn't trunk she was going to like Javo very much. She turned to Aremor and nuzzled his cheak showing that she would always be with him.

Javo walked away across the territory. "pth. i don't care. ill just keep on living as Gamma...i don't need more." she frowned. she choose gamma because she was afraid of having to much power, of misusing it.
